How can I find the colour code for my IKEA product?
We do not print colour codes on all our products because they are factory-adapted, which means we cannot guarantee a perfect colour match. The easiest way to find out the colour code of your product is to take the product or a part of it to a paint store that can help you scan the colour.
We have compiled the colour codes for PAX, PLATSA, and METOD (note that the following documents are in Swedish):
IKEA always recommends taking the door/front to a paint store to have it measured there to get a color that is as close as possible. IKEA cannot guarantee that the NCS code in the above documents is a 100% match to the color of the door/front. The code is only indicative; it is the closest we can get to our colors expressed in NCS code. Different brands/mixes of paint can give different results.
IKEA does not take responsibility for color differences that may arise due to this.
