What filling materials does IKEA have in pillows and duvets?
Depending on how you sleep, there are several different pillows and duvets that can make your night’s sleep even better. Our range of pillows and duvets is divided into two groups depending on the filling material: natural materials and polyester. Both groups offer properties for different sleep preferences, and both can be machine washed for a long-lasting fresh feeling.
For those who sleep on their back, on their side, on their stomach, for those who are cold sleepers or warm sleepers - the filling in pillows and duvets offers a range of benefits depending on how you prefer to sleep.
Natural materials come in different fillings such as down, feather and wool, so you can find the right fit for your sleeping comfort. The choice of material and the amount of filling provide a variety of options for side sleepers, stomach sleepers, cold sleepers or warm sleepers. Products made from natural materials are not treated with mite or allergy protection, but they can be washed.
Polyester fillings include lyocell, polyester, cotton and memory foam - all easy-care materials with good insulation. Fibre duvets are available in both warm and cool variants, so you can choose the best duvet for you and for the season. They are also machine washable, making them easy to keep clean and fresh.
