Why doesn't my lamp come with a plug?

Some households do not have ceiling sockets, but cables that go out from the wall or ceiling. A ceiling lamp is considered a fixed installation and must therefore not be delivered with a ready-made plug. If you feel unsure about how the installation should be done, we recommend that you contact a qualified electrician.

A ceiling lamp is considered a fixed installation and is therefore delivered without a ready-made plug. In many cases, the lamp is often connected directly to the electrical socket in the ceiling or on the wall. To connect the lamp, you may need to supplement with a KOPPLA ceiling plug.

If it is a fixed installation, you connect the electrical cables directly to the "sugar cube" that comes with the lamp you bought from us. A sugar cube is a small coupling clamp where the lamp's cables are connected to the electricity in the ceiling.

Follow the assembly instructions on the lamp or from the matching lamp plug for a correct and safe installation. Consult with an electrician if you are unsure of the solution you have in your home.
