How to clean the oven door step by step

  1. Start by removing the oven door: Open the door and fold the hooks on each side towards the door as shown by the arrows. Then lift the door off by lifting it up and out.
  2. Removing the glass: There may be different ways to remove the glass depending on the oven model. Usually this is done either by loosening the two screws at the bottom of the door and carefully separating the door using a screwdriver. Or you remove the strip that is located at the top of the glass by pressing the strip in from the left and right sides and lifting it up.
  3. Separate the glasses : Be careful when separating the glasses, as they may be held together with silicone seals. Note that the glass is recessed into the upper handle strip.
  4. Clean the glass : use a damp microfiber cloth and a mixture of baking soda and water to clean the glass. Apply the mixture to the dirty glass and leave it for 45-60 minutes. Then you can clean the glass panes with the microfiber cloth and dry them with a dry cloth.
  5. Reassemble the oven door : replace the glass and reassemble the door in reverse order. Make sure the glass is securely attached and the door is reassembled correctly.
