This table puts your baby at a comfy height for changing – and cuddling. With handy storage within arm’s reach you can grab diapers, creams and clothes while always keeping one hand on your baby.

Comfortable height for changing the baby.

Practical storage space within close reach: you can always keep a hand on your baby.

When your child no longer uses diapers, you can lower the top shelf and use the furniture as a desk for homework or being creative.

The fixed shelf below the changing table can be fitted to the right or to the left.

To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we’ve used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

  • Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. The included screws are suitable for wooden materials and the wall plugs can be used for plaster, concrete or masonry. Follow the instructions for the wall type in your home.

  • This furniture must be fixed to the wall with the safety fitting provided to help prevent it from tipping over if a child climbs or hangs on it.Never leave your child unattended on the changing table.WARNING! This furniture shall be anchored to the wall with the enclosed safety fitting to prevent it from tipping over.We recommend that you use a changing pad with dimensions that fit the changing table and which is max. 2 cm thick. Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.

Calm start with safe routines

In anticipation of the new family member arriving, you can prepare a cosy, safe and practical place for changing diapers, clothes and everything else that concerns the baby's care. Then coming home with your newborn baby can be completely wonderful, but also a bit overwhelming. The laundry pile grows and you try to juggle doing everything that needs to be done while holding the baby at the same time. With a combination of SMÅSTAD changing table and storage, you can easily reach everything you need on hooks and in drawers, and can still have a snug hand devoted to your child.
