This changing table grows with your child and easily converts into a desk or a play surface. Lower the top to the desired height and transform it into a desk.

Practical storage space within close reach: you can always keep a hand on your baby.

To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we’ve used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

  • Different wall materials require different types of fixing devices. The included screws are suitable for wooden materials and the wall plugs can be used for plaster, concrete or masonry. Follow the instructions for the wall type in your home.

    Particle- and fibreboard with honeycomb paper filling (100% recycled paper), Acrylic paint

    Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

  • Never leave your child unattended on the changing table.This furniture must be fixed to the wall with the safety fitting provided to help prevent it from tipping over if a child climbs or hangs on it.For children up to 15 kg.We recommend that you use a changing pad with dimensions that fit the changing table and which is max. 2 cm thick. Place the changing pad in the middle of the changing surface.

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.

In anticipation of the new family member arriving, you can prepare a cosy, safe and practical place for changing diapers, clothes and everything else that concerns the baby's care. Then coming home with your newborn baby can be completely wonderful, but also a bit overwhelming. The laundry pile grows and you try to juggle doing everything that needs to be done while holding the baby at the same time. With a combination of SMÅSTAD changing table and storage, you can easily reach everything you need on hooks and in drawers, and can still have a snug hand devoted to your child.
