Can I modify or change my IKEA product?
Any changes you make to a product will void the guarantee.

Any modifications you do to a product such as drilling holes or removing parts during use will void all guarantees as the product will no longer functions as intended. Modifications may also damage the integrity of the product's structure. Therefore, we recommend that our customer's carefully read and follow the assembly instructions.
Products that indicate the need to be anchored must be fixed to the wall for safety reasons. These are required when indicated in the assembly instructions and failure to do so will void the guarantee.
