IKEA NZ wishes to advise its customers that they will now be required to pay to contribute to a levy imposed on spare parts orders incoming into New Zealand. Our spare parts originate from IKEA of Sweden and will be shipped to your residence within New Zealand from overseas. This levy is not imposed by IKEA NZ or the INGKA Group and is a levy imposed by New Zealand Government regulation in force (for low-value imported shipments of less than $1,000 NZD value from 1 April 2026). Our current delivery partner is DHL and they will contact you directly prior to delivery to finalize the payment authorization of this levy.  Payment is required for DHL to complete delivery to you. Customers wanting further information should visit the official New Zealand Customs website or contact DHL for further information regarding the current charge imposed on imports.
