What delivery options does IKEA offer?
IKEA offers Home Delivery, Parcel Delivery, and Click & Collect. Home Delivery includes 'To The Door' and 'In The Home' options. Parcel Delivery is ideal for smaller items through post and Click & Collect allows you to pick up your order from an IKEA store or Collection Point.
a. To The Door Delivery: Your items are delivered to the front door of your selected delivery address. If your selected address is a residential apartment or unit complex, the order will be delivered to the front door of the foyer or building. 'Authority to Leave' is automatically applied to all 'To The Door deliveries', if you are not home to accept your delivery, the TSP will leave your delivery in a safe and secure location. A 10-hour delivery window is provided.
b. In the Home Delivery: This service is ideal for larger orders where you may need help with carrying the products inside your home. The delivery driver will bring the goods into your selected delivery address and place them in one room of your choice. For deliveries arriving in Auckland, a 4-hour time window will be provided. For deliveries outside of Auckland, a 10-hour delivery window will apply. For all delivery locations, you will receive a notification 30–60 minutes prior to the delivery being completed. 'Authority to Leave' can be selected for this service, in the instance where you are not at the property at the time of the delivery, the delivery driver will attempt to leave your order as long as there is a safe and secure location to do so.

To ensure that your delivery is successful, you must provide a safe, clear, and adequate space for your products to be delivered by the TSP. If your delivery is going to a higher floor than ground level (i.e. an apartment), sufficient access via stairs or an elevator is required. Deliveries are limited to up to the third level unless an elevator is available. While most IKEA products can be delivered, some fragile, oversized, or seasonal items may have restrictions.
