What delivery options does IKEA offer?

IKEA offers Home Delivery, Parcel Delivery, and Click & Collect. Home Delivery includes 'To The Door' and 'In The Home' options. Parcel Delivery is ideal for smaller items through post and Click & Collect allows you to pick up your order from an IKEA store or Collection Point.

Home Delivery: This option brings your order right to your address. 
a. To The Door Delivery: Your items are delivered to the front door of your selected delivery address. If your selected address is a residential apartment or unit complex, the order will be delivered to the front door of the foyer or building. 'Authority to Leave' is automatically applied to all 'To The Door deliveries', if you are not home to accept your delivery, the TSP will leave your delivery in a safe and secure location. A 10-hour delivery window is provided. 
 
b. In the Home Delivery: This service is ideal for larger orders where you may need help with carrying the products inside your home. The delivery driver will bring the goods into your selected delivery address and place them in one room of your choice. For deliveries arriving in Auckland, a 4-hour time window will be provided. For deliveries outside of Auckland, a 10-hour delivery window will apply. For all delivery locations, you will receive a notification 30–60 minutes prior to the delivery being completed. 'Authority to Leave' can be selected for this service, in the instance where you are not at the property at the time of the delivery, the delivery driver will attempt to leave your order as long as there is a safe and secure location to do so. 
Parcel Delivery: Ideal for smaller orders like accessories or home decor where the total weight of the order does not exceed 8kg. The delivery date provided is an estimate however will be delivered 7-10 business days from the delivery date stated on your order. Parcel orders are delivered to your selected delivery address with the option to add an Authority to Leave as long as there is a safe and secure location to do so. 
Click & Collect: The Click and Collect service allows you to collect your order from our IKEA stores, as long as stock is available. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an SMS or email notification with instructions on how and where to collect your order. You will need to have photo ID and a copy of your proof of purchase ready to show the co-workers at the store. If you have arranged for someone else to collect the order on your behalf, they will need to bring the original order confirmation or tax invoice and photo ID. In the event where you are unable to collect your order, it will be held for 3 days from the collection date. 
Collection Points: Ideal for customers who may live further away from our IKEA store, who wish to order larger furniture items that exceed the 8kg parcel limit. Once your order is ready at the Collection Point, you will receive an SMS or email with instructions on how to collect your order. You will need to have photo ID and a copy of your proof of purchase ready.
