Terms and Conditions for the use of fittings for assembly of IKEA products

The Consumer may, on a self-service basis, purchase through the Website, free of charge, assembly fittings for the assembly of its furniture, only fittings such as screws, nuts, or similar "Fittings", for which he/she agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Fittings for assembly of IKEA products and agrees to be bound by the following:

  1. The Consumer may purchase Fittings only as fittings for the assembly of their furniture, which may be chosen from the catalog that IKEA MEXICO makes available on the "Web Site" in the applicable section or in Store in the Customer Service Area or in person at the Store (each of the channels has a specific availability of Fittings that you should consult directly in each channel).
  2. The Consumer may only purchase through the "Web Site" or in the Store, the Fittings that are available on the "Web Site".
  3. The consumer may only purchase up to 30 items of Fittings per order.
  4. This service is free of charge, however, import fees may apply since the parts are shipped from Slovakia. You will be notified directly by the customs authority or Correos de Mexico, who will inform you of the steps to follow, as well as the costs to be covered by you if applicable.
  5. As this is a Self-Service service, the consumer shall be solely responsible for the purchase of the assembly fittings chosen, and IKEA México shall not be responsible for the choice of such parts.
  6. In order for the Consumer to purchase the desired Fittings, he/she must access the "Web Site" and complete the corresponding process, where he/she must choose the desired part, number of parts, as well as additional information for the identification of the order.
  7. This service may only be used by consumers who have previously purchased a product from IKEA México either through its online store or its physical stores and only for the products they have purchased.
  8. The consumer must confirm his or her order and accept these terms and conditions, the Terms and Conditions of Use and the Privacy Notice available at mx/ Terms and Conditions for Fittings for IKEA Product Assemblies and IKEA.mx/Privacy Notice. By simply confirming the transaction, you accept the above documents.
  9. Once you have placed your Fittings order on the Web Site you will receive an email confirming your order and order number. The delivery service is done through Correos de Mexico so the estimated delivery time is 60 days, however, this can be updated by Correos de Mexico itself.
    You cannot track your order in real time, but you can find out if your order has been shipped through the link you received in your order confirmation email.
  10. If any of these items are defective, you will have to order new ones, free of charge.

Anything not covered by these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the terms and conditions of use available at IKEA.mx/ Terms and Conditions of Use.
