Inspiring change through workshops and community engagement.

Whether it’s inspiring children to lead healthier and more active lives, or supporting initiatives that protect our environment and wellbeing, we believe that when we come together, small steps can lead to big change.

We also create initiatives to spread the awareness about the different challenges that the planet faces today. Some examples are Together for a Better Planet at Al Shaheed Park and The Sustainability Challenge at the Avenues.

Ramadan Meal Donation with Kuwait Food Bank.

Every year during Ramadan, IKEA Kuwait joins hands with Kuwait Food Bank to deliver meals to families in need.

Creating a better every day life starts with caring for those around us.

The Kuwait Society for the Handicap’s Granata College

A real life training environment to support student independence at Granada College.

To empower students and strengthen their independence in everyday life, Granada College has created the Independence space, Real-life training environment that helps students build essential skills.

This project was brought to life when our expert teams furnished and equipped the space to convert it into a functional home.

KISWA Clothes Donation

We teamed up with KISWA to make it simple for people to give their clothes a second life.

Through this collaboration, our customers could drop off used clothes, shoes, soft toys, and bags at IKEA stores.

KISWA ensured every item collected was reused or recycled, helping reduce textile waste and promote a more circular way of living.

PADA

We proudly partnered with the Public Authority for Disability Affairs, to host trainees as part of a training programme designed to support their integration into the professional world.

Throughout the programme we provided hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to different workplace environments, helping trainees build their confidence and strengthen their skills.

This initiative reflects our commitment to continue our collaboration with organizations in Kuwait to promote an inclusive workplace for all.

META Sign

IKEA Kuwait has launched a real-time sign language interpretation service in all its stores, in partnership with MetaSign, a local company specializing in services for individuals with special needs.

This service reinforces IKEA’s commitment to accessibility and inclusion, focusing on empowerment, independence, and creating an environment where everyone feels at home.
