This armchair is easy on the eyes and body. The design is welcoming, the deep seat and the high back and armrests embrace you – and it’s also super easy to remove the cover and wash it.

The deep seat and the high back and armrests feel embracing, so you enjoy a comfortable and relaxed sitting position – perfect for reading, watching TV or having long chats.

In this 1.5-seat armchair you enjoy nice alone-time, but there’s also enough room for 2 when it's time for a goodnight story or other cosy together-time.

Plenty of space for storage under the armchair – just add a few smart storage boxes to easily keep things organised.

This cover is made of a cotton and linen fabric with a smooth surface and a natural look in a neutral colour.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

My favourite spot in the house!

I absolutely love this 1.5 seater. It fits perfect as a second couch and it is my favourite place to relax having my coffee or reading book. Totally recommend it!

We purchased this chair for our nursery and we have loved it so far! Only thing is when you’re assembling, getting the seat liner to lock into place is *very* difficult, but it can be done.

“My idea with BACKSÄLEN was to design a sofa that really makes you want to pull your legs up under you and snuggle up into a cosy ball. The loose fit of the upholstery gives the sofa a life of its own – somewhat like a fluffy cloud. To feel generous and embracing, the sofa has a deep seat and armrests that open up like a hug for you. I hope people personalise it with soft cushions and throws they like so it suits their own home and decor!"
