About delivery services

The terms of delivery contract shall be in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Carriage set forth by the delivery company. Please also refer to "IKEA Terms and Conditions for Sale of Products" on the IKEA website.

On Delivery

  • The product will be delivered to the door of customer’s home unless you requested to the delivery into the rooms in advance.
  • Delivery may delay due to traffic conditions, etc.
  • When receiving the delivery, please check for damage to the packaging of the product by yourself. 

About the delivery of goods 

  •  Depending on the size and dimensions of elevators, entrances, stairs, etc., it may not be possible to carry them in. 
    In addition, if the delivery staff determines that it is difficult to ensure safety, delivery may be postponed.  
  • If delivery is not possible, the order will be cancelled.
    In this case, the delivery fee will not be refunded, so please check the delivery route in advance.

About changing the delivery date 

  • If you wish to change the delivery date, please visit My Purchase on the website or contact our Customer Support Centre . Please note that it may not be able to arrange delivery on your desired date and time. 
  • Delivery date can be selected maximum 30 days ahead from the date of purchase.

Additional fee for extra storage

  •  If the delivery date is postponed by your reason, and the delivery date is 15 days or more from the date of purchase, 2,000-yen storage fee will be charged (including the case when you are not at home at the time of delivery).

Delivery failure 

  • Please visit My Purchase on the website or contact our Customer Support Centre if you want to cancel the delivery. 
  • If the delivery is canceled, the delivery fee will not be refunded.
