Awful issue with offgassingSamanthaWe purchased this to replace a much loved, but very much in need of replacing Hovag. I still have no idea why Ikea discontinued Hovag because it was excellent, but apparently this is the replacement. If so, it's a poor exchange. Firstly the mattress sides feel much thinner and less sturdy, while the mattress itself manages to be hugely uncomfortable. The worst issue however was the offgassing, we actually left the mattress for five days, in a room with an air purifier to try to sort this. Ended up giving it away to a charity because we obviously couldn't return it once delivered as we would have had to transport it to Dublin. Absolutely avoid.

Disappointment MichelleBought this 2 yrs ago, thought at the time it was the right choice. It's gone that both of us wake with back pain. The description is that you don't roll or know when the other person moves, but I roll toward middle when he gets into bed . Very disappointed in it 😓

Very softJoshuaThe quality of the mattress is fine, but it is the softest mattress I have ever experienced, definitely not medium firm, and thus I will have to look into returning or getting a firm mattress topper. Definitely not worth it because it does not match the description.
Rolled up but springs flat! Amazing ChristopherNever received a rolled up mattress before so I was a little dubious about the quality or effectiveness! Looks can be deceiving! Unrolls well, springs back to life and is comfy. What’s more, it comes with exchange promise and manufacturing guarantees.
Great sleep MonicaThis was recommended to me and it's is the best mattress we've had, the price is unbelievable, the last mattress we had was orthopaedic and the price was over a thousand euros. I would recommend the valevag as the best buy.

Very uncomfortable AimeeI bought this to replace the Hovag form mattress which was extremely comfortable but unfortunately discontinued. We have it for 3 months now and I am waking up in discomfort every night. I like a firm mattress but this has no give at all (imagine sleeping on your side on a blanket on the ground). I would like to swap it for another mattress but looking at the reviews for the other models, the options are not good…
