Doesn't cut through Nithin KumarDisappointing and Unsafe – Cuts Cans Instead of Opening Them
I'm extremely disappointed with this can opener. It consistently fails to perform its basic function; instead of cleanly cutting along the lid to open the can, it cuts into the side of the can itself. This not only makes it impossible to open cans properly, but it also creates sharp, jagged edges that are a serious safety hazard. I've had to discard multiple cans because of this. Avoid this product if you value your time and your fingers!
Great experience Priscilla👍
Doesn't work at allRonaldWe tried opening several cans, but no matter how we try, the cutting wheel will pierce the can, but will derail, and refuse to cut more then 20% of the can before it stops and has to be remounted. I've never had a worse can opener.
Don't buy. Does not work. Anonymous reviewerDoes not work at all. If you don't want to rant about "Why did I buy this ?", don't buy this. I am thinking about the engineer who designed this.
Absolutely gorgeous & incredible value.TerryTruly a five star product- Nothing wrong here.
Fragile productMohamadIt feels fragile when used and after three months of usage, it's broken.
TerribleKaterinaI love Ikea. Almost everything I own is from Ikea. I've never been disappointed before, until now. This is the worst can opener on the planet. It is a piece of garbage. It does not work. As you try to open the can it warps and gets out of track. Literally cannot open a can with it even when expending great effort.

What is stainless steel?
Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
