How to take care of your garden table and chairs 

Once you’ve found a set of garden chairs and a table you like, you want to make sure it lasts. Now, while most outdoor furniture is made to be used in gardens, on patios or balconies, harsh weather will eventually take its toll. Therefore, you need to protect your furniture when it’s not in use. The easiest way to defend your furniture from damage is by storing it indoors. If that’s not feasible, putting a waterproof cover over the top of your table and chairs is another option. 

Regular maintenance is also important. This will vary depending on what your furniture is made from. 

For example, metal, steel or plastic tables and chairs require very little maintenance. A quick, occasional clean with a damp cloth and some soap is all they need to prevent a build-up of mould and mildew.
