Do you use flame retardants in your products?
We never use chemical flame retardants in our products unless required by national legislation. Instead, we use materials with integrated flame retardant properties, such as natural wool.
All IKEA products are tested and approved according to current regulations and standards to be as fireproof as possible. By choosing the right material for the product, by design and by carrying out inspection tests of the products, we ensure that our furniture is not flammable.
