Can I pay with an IKEA gift card in another country?

IKEA gift cards can be purchased and used in different IKEA countries, with a few exceptions.

As a rule, physical gift cards purchased in department stores can also be purchased and used in other IKEA countries.
The IKEA countries, whose gift cards do not work in Finland are Australia, India, Romania, Austria, Serbia, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Germany and France.
The IKEA countries, where Finnish gift cards do not work are Australia, India, Romania, Serbia, South Korea, Japan, Germany and China.
 
However, there may be country-specific restrictions on the use of electronic gift cards. The restrictions on use are stated in the gift card delivered electronically or in its terms and conditions.
Digital refund cards are country-specific and can only be used in the IKEA country where the refund card was issued.
