How can I check the balance of my IKEA gift or refund card?

You can check the balance of your gift or refund card online or in-store.

1. Check your balance online

You can check the balance of your IKEA gift or refund card online at any time.
Before you start:
  • Log in to your IKEA account or create a new account.
  • Enter the last 13 digits of your card and the PIN code.
  • No PIN code is required for promotional cards.

2. Check the balance in the IKEA store

If you want to check your balance on site, you can do so directly:
  • at the checkout in the IKEA store.
After each purchase, the remaining amount of your card will also be automatically displayed on the receipt.

3. Important Notes on Activation & Use

  • IKEA gift cards that you buy in an IKEA store or online are activated immediately after purchase.
  • IKEA gift cards from third-party retailers will be activated within 36 hours.
  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged or returned.
  • A cash payment of the credit is not possible.
