Bedroom ideas that make your first apartment a happy place

Even if the square meters are limited, the homely feeling is maximised in every inch. This is a complete home, all fitted into one single room.

HEMNES day-bed can be a round-the-clock-bed too!

It might be called a day-bed, but in this room it stays out almost all the time, as a 160 cm wide and comfortable bed. An extra mattress pad adds to that comfort, together with lots of pillows and duvets. The fact that it can be transformed into a neat sofa in no time, is a bonus.

A chest of drawer is calm on the outside…

…but super busy on the inside! Those drawers can hold more clothes and things than you’d think, and with some interior organising boxes they help you keep everything in order too. Then there’s still plenty of room to decorate on top.

Create a place for growth

Growth comes in many different forms, and both plants and human beings need a place for it. Any comfortable place to sit down, catch your breath and reflect for a minute can do wonders. ROCKSJÖN armchair can be that place for you, and ÅKERBÄR greenhouse is the perfect place for your plants. They need the same thing as all of us: Some everyday tender love and care.

Multifunction the natural way

Multifunction doesn’t have to be more complicated than this. ROSENTORP table is there for dining, studying, reading, writing, socialising… anything! Hidden inside it is a butterfly extension leaf, so even the size is adjustable for your different needs. As for the IVAR shelving unit, it offers both closed and open storage, all in one untreated, neat and flexible solution.

A wardrobe without an actual wardrobe

Who said a wardrobe must have doors? Two rods in a corner with a curtain works almost the exact same way, and that curtain gives the whole room a softer atmosphere. With a mirror on the wall next to it, and perhaps a trolley for accessories and stuff, this dressing corner is complete.

The wheel was invented for a good reason

The wheel made life a lot easier back in the days when it was first invented – and it still does! LOSHULT trolley rolls to wherever you need it, and is always ready to fill a different purpose depending on what you fill it up with.

Abracadabra!

It’s almost magic how easy HEMNES day-bed goes from bed to sofa and back again. The big drawers below take care of all the bed linen and pillows. Then, with a nice table and chairs in front of it, no-one would ever guess that they’re sitting on your bed!
