You can combine open and closed storage - shelves for your favourite things and drawers for the things you want to store away.
Adjustable shelves and clothes rails make it easy for you to customise the space according to your needs.
You choose if you want to place the open storage solution against a wall or use it as a room divider since the post attaches to the ceiling.
Integrated damper catches the running drawer and closes it slowly, silently and softly.
Bamboo is a durable material that creates a cozy feeling and a nice contrast against the white aluminium frame.

One 40 cm clothes rail holds about 10-12 shirts on hangers.
One 80 cm clothes rail holds about 24-26 shirts on hangers.
One 80 cm wide drawer holds about 10 pairs of folded trousers or 24 T-shirts.
One 40 cm wide shoe shelf holds 2 pairs of shoes.
Each post includes two fittings which enable interiors to be mounted also on the extendable part, allowing you to utilise the entire ceiling height.
Different ceiling materials require different types of fixing devices. Use fixing devices suitable for the ceilings in your home, sold separately.
Two persons are needed for the assembly of this furniture.

What is bamboo?
Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
