What does the service cover?
The service can be used on mattresses, sofas and electrical appliances when ordering new products from the same category. Good news! Your old furniture doesn't have to be from IKEA.
In addition to old furniture, it is also possible to have your old kitchen removed. However, you must arrange the removal of the kitchen in person at an IKEA store and include it in your order for the new kitchen. The kitchen must be dismantled before removal.
If you shop online, you can order a collection service directly in your shopping cart together with the delivery of your order. The collection date is always the same as the delivery date of your order of new IKEA products. If you want to purchase this service in our IKEA stores, please contact our staff. You will then prepare the products for collection in accordance with the terms and conditions and just wait for the delivery date.
Mattress removal and disposal for 499 CZK
We will remove your old mattress when your new mattress is delivered. Simply add the removal and disposal service to your order with your new mattress. The removal and disposal service is only available for orders over 30 kg.
The price includes removal, handling and disposal of the old mattress.
Sofa removal for 699 CZK
We will remove your old sofa when your new sofa is delivered. Simply add the removal and disposal service to your order with your new sofa. Removal and disposal service is only available for orders over 30 kg.
The price includes removal, handling and disposal of the old sofa.
Removal of electrical appliances for 199 CZK
We will remove your old appliance when your new one is delivered. Simply add the removal and disposal service to your order with your new appliance. The removal and disposal service is only available for orders over 30 kg.
The price includes removal and handling, disposal of electrical appliances is free.

How IKEA removal service works
- Choose the new IKEA products you want to buy, add them to your shopping cart, where you will have the option to order a pickup at the same time as the delivery of your new products. If you are shopping at an IKEA store, you can contact our employees. This service can only be purchased in connection with the delivery of new furniture.
- Prepare the products for collection in accordance with the contractual terms.
- Before we deliver your new products, make sure that all products can be safely and easily removed from your home. Then all you have to do is say tack a hej då (thanks and goodbye) to your old furniture.
- Disposal of old furniture will be done responsibly and you can enjoy new things.
Important information and conditions
If you purchase any of our products from the mattress, electrical appliances and sofa categories, we will be happy to take care of your old furniture. We will collect one or more matching products from the above categories. Here are some important things to remember:
- The removal and disposal service cannot be added to an order that has already been created.
- We cannot disassemble or dismantle furniture. If the furniture will not fit through the door, you must disassemble it into its individual parts and prepare it for transport.
- Mattresses and sofas must be wrapped in plastic foil for hygiene reasons. The carrier has the right to refuse to accept an unpackaged mattress or sofa.
- When disposing of electrical appliances, they must be disconnected from the power, water or waste sources.
- We will pick up your old products at the same location and on the same date as we deliver your new products. If you choose delivery to the first lockable door, this will also be the place where we will pick up your old furniture for removal.
- You can return any number of old products as long as they are in the same category as the product in your order (e.g. if you are buying a sofa, we will be happy to take all of your old sofas).
- Your old furniture doesn't necessarily have to be from IKEA.
- The product must be capable of being transported without risk of damage to goods, persons or property.
- Please indicate the number of products you need to deliver so that our service providers can estimate how much space the products will take up in the delivery. The number of pieces entered in the order must correspond to the quantity of products we will deliver.
