Kitchen installation

Whether you need help with delivery or complete installation, don't worry – simply contact us! We will install your kitchen quickly and according to the highest standards. The price of the installation depends on the size of the kitchen and the type of installation you choose. You can choose between basic installation and complete installation.

Basic kitchen installation

Basic installation includes the assembly and mounting of cabinets and installation of the worktop.

Basic installation of  ENHET/KNOXHULT kitchen

  • Wall cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling; assembly of hinges, doors, shelves, interior fittings, knobs and holds; cutting of cabinets for appliance installation; including all connecting material (as well as material not included in IKEA packages). If two rows of cabinets are installed on top of one another, each row is counted separately.

  • Base cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs, assembly of worktops, cutting of cabinets/worktops for installation of electrical, gas and water systems; including all connecting material (as well as material not included in IKEA packages). When installing kitchen units each row of cabinets is counted separately.
  • High cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs, connecting and terminal strips, systems; including all connecting material (as well as material not included in IKEA packages).

Basic installation of METOD kitchen

  • Wall cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling; assembly of hinges, doors, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs; cutting of cabinets for appliance installation; including all connecting material (as well as material not included in IKEA packages). If two rows of cabinets are installed on top of one another, each row is counted separately.

  • Base cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, plinths, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs, assembly of worktops, connecting and finishing strips; cutting of cabinets/worktops for installation of electrical, gas and water systems; including all connecting material (as well as material not included in IKEA packages). When installing kitchen units each row of cabinets is counted separately.
  • High cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs, connecting and finishing strips, cutting of cabinets for installation of electrical systems; including all connecting material (as well as material not included in IKEA packages).

Kitchen installation includesverification of the plan, which is paid for separately. When purchasing a kitchen and kitchen installation, the price of the service is deducted from the overall price.

All connecting material for cabinets (dowels, wood screws + silicon) are included in the price of the cabinet assembly. Special materials required for the connection of appliances (gas pipes, pegs, brackets etc.) must be paid for separately.


Complete kitchen installation 

A complete professional kitchen installation saves you time. The price includes the complete connection of IKEA electrical and gas appliances, connection to water mains and waste systems, installation of lights, and installation of the worktop, including the cutting of apertures for appliances and milled connections.

Complete installation of  ENHET/KNOXHULT kitchen

  • Wall cabinets - assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling; assembly of hinges, doors, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs; cutting of cabinets for appliance installation; including all connecting material, as well as material not included in IKEA packages. Assembly of IKEA appliances and installation of lights If two rows of cabinets are installed on top of one another, each row is counted separately.
  • Base cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs, assembly of worktops, preparation of join between two adjacent or vertical surfaces, cutting of cabinets/worktops for installation of electrical, gas and water systems; including all connecting material, as well as material not included in IKEA packages. Installation, connection and integration using joinery of IKEA electrical or gas appliances according to IKEA instructions and valid regulations (no masonry work). Installation of the sink and tap unit according to IKEA instructions, including drilling of apertures into the worktop and threading. When installing a kitchen island each row of cabinets is counted separately.
  • High cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs; including all connecting material, as well as material not included in IKEA packages. Installation, connection and integration using joinery of IKEA appliances according to IKEA instructions and valid regulations (no masonry work).

Complete installation of METOD kitchen

  • Wall cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling; assembly of hinges, doors, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs; cutting of cabinets for appliance installation; assembly of decorative strips; covering panel, filling of gaps between cabinet and wall; including all connecting material, as well as material not included in IKEA packages. Assembly of IKEA appliances and installation of lights If two rows of cabinets are installed on top of one another, each row is counted separately.
  • Base cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, skirting boards, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs, assembly of covering panels; assembly of worktop, connecting and finishing strips, preparation of join between two adjacent or vertical worktops, cutting of cabinets/worktops for installation of electrical, gas and water systems; filling of gaps between cabinet and wall; including all connecting material, as well as material not included in IKEA packages. Installation, connection and integration using joinery of IKEA electrical or gas appliances according to IKEA instructions and valid regulations (no masonry work). Installation of the sink and tap unit according to IKEA instructions, including drilling of apertures into the worktop and threading. When installing a kitchen island each row of cabinets is counted separately.
  • High cabinets – assembly of cabinets, suspension and levelling, assembly of legs, hinges, doors, drawers, shelves, interior fittings, handles and knobs; assembly of covering panels, frames and false strips, covering panel, assembly of connecting and finishing strips, cutting of cabinets for installation of electrical systems; including all connecting material (as well as material not included in IKEA packages). Installation, connection and integration using joinery of IKEA appliances according to IKEA instructions and valid regulations (no masonry work). If two rows of cabinets are installed on top of one another, each row is counted separately.

The installation of non-IKEA appliances is not included in the price of complete kitchen installation and is paid for separately. CAUTION! We do not install built-in appliances that have different dimensions than the interior dimensions of the cabinet.

Other assembly and installation work

If you want to do part of the kitchen installation work yourself, or if you need to change an appliance or the worktop in a kitchen that has already been installed, we'll be happy to help. Please read the description of individual installation tasks:

  • Worktop only – installation of the worktop is included in both basic and complete installation. You pay for the installation of the separately provided worktop only in case you haven´t ordered the installation of the whole kitchen. The installation of a bar counter or the mounting of wall panels is not included in complete installation and must be paid for separately.
  • Milled connection – the preparation of a join between two adjacent worktops or worktops connected at a 90° angle is included in complete kitchen installation. You pay for it only if you order just the worktop installation in an already existing kitchen. An invisible join is used if the worktop is milled or if an edge is removed, If the worktops are only placed next to one another, the invisible join is not used.
  • Built-in electrical appliances – the installation, connection and integration of electrical appliances by joinery according to IKEA instructions and valid regulations (without masonry work) is included in IKEA's complete installation service. However, if you need to connect an appliance to an existing kitchen, e.g. to change an appliance, you can order the installation from us. The installation of free-standing electrical appliances, e.g. a free-standing refrigerator, is free. The installation of non-IKEA appliances is not included in the price of complete kitchen installation and is paid for separately. "CAUTION! We do not install built-in appliances that have different dimensions than the interior dimensions of the cabinet."
  • Built-in gas appliances – the installation, connection and integration of appliances by joinery according to IKEA instructions and valid regulations (without masonry work) is included in IKEA's complete installation service. However, if you need to connect an appliance to an existing kitchen, e.g. to change an appliance, you can order the installation from us. The installation of non-IKEA appliances is not included in the price of complete kitchen installation and is paid for separately. "CAUTION! We do not install built-in appliances that have different dimensions than the interior dimensions of the cabinet."
  • Sink and tap unit – installation of the sink and tap unit according to IKEA instructions for prepared waste and water plumbing, including drilling of apertures in the worktop and threading. You only pay for the installation if you are installing the sink and tap unit in an existing kitchen, e.g. to change the unit.
  • The installation of lights is included in complete kitchen installation. You only pay for the installation if you are installing lights in an existing kitchen, e.g. to change them.
  • Atypical tasks – billed per 15 minutes. A complete kitchen installation already includes up to two hours of atypical tasks.
