Other assembly and installation work

Do you want to do part of the installation yourself, or do you need to replace an appliance or worktop in an already installed kitchen? We’re here to help. Take a look at the description of the individual installation work:

  • Separate worktop – installation is part of both basic and complete installation. You pay for it if you do not order the installation of the entire kitchen but only a separate worktop. The installation of a bar counter or the installation of wall panels are not part of the complete installation and are paid separately.
  • Milled joint – making a joint between two connecting or perpendicular worktops is part of the complete kitchen installation. You pay for it only if you order a separate installation of the worktop in an already standing kitchen. An invisible joint is used when the plate is milled or an edge is torn off. If the plates are just attached to each other, the invisible joint does not count.
  • Built-in electrical equipment – installation, wiring and joinery installation of electrical appliances according to IKEA instructions and current regulations (without masonry) are part of the complete IKEA installation. However, if you need to connect the appliance to an already standing kitchen, e.g. to replace the appliance, you can order its installation from us. Installing freestanding electrical appliances, such as refrigerators, is free of charge. Installation of appliances purchased outside IKEA is not part of the complete kitchen installation and is paid separately. NOTE! We do not install built-in appliances that have a different dimension than the internal dimension of the cabinet.
  • Built-in gas appliances – installation, wiring and joinery installation of appliances according to IKEA instructions and current regulations (without masonry) are part of the complete IKEA installation. However, if you need to connect the appliance to an already standing kitchen, e.g. to replace the appliance, you can order its installation from us. Installation of appliances purchased outside IKEA is not part of the complete kitchen installation and is paid separately. NOTE! We do not install built-in appliances that have a different dimension than the internal dimension of the cabinet.
  • Sink and faucet – installing the sink and faucet according to the IKEA instructions on the prepared waste and water supply, including drilling a hole in the worktop and thread, is part of the complete kitchen installation. You only pay if it sink and faucet are installed in an already finished kitchen, e.g. for replacement.
  • Installation of lighting is part of the complete installation of the kitchen. You only pay if it is a question of installing lighting in an already finished kitchen, e.g. for replacement.
  • Atypical work – 550 CZK per hour of one employee.
