You have the right of access to your personal data, to their rectification or erasure, or to restriction of their processing, unless this is otherwise restricted by a special regulation.
You have the right to the transferability of data that you have provided on the basis of your consent or for the purpose of entering into a contractual relationship with us, i.e. to receive a copy of it in a standard, machine-readable format.
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if they are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest, e.g. a camera system or for the purposes of direct marketing.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to individual personal data processing activities at any time. In the event of an appeal, the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data prior to the withdrawal of consent is not affected.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body for personal data protection, i.e. the Office for Personal Data Protection (registered office and contacts are available on the website https://uoou.gov.cz/).

Unless otherwise stated, we process your personal data together with other members of the Ingka Group, who either provide us with the means to process it or assist us with the processing of your requests, such as orders, claims, suggestions, or marketing activities. These are chiefly IKEA Bratislava, s.r.o. (Slovakia) and IKEA Furnishing Ltd. (Hungary), as members of the joint internal regional organisation, and IKEA IT AB, as the provider of common IT systems within the said group.
If you are interested in receiving news about our products, services and special offers, you can subscribe to our newsletter. By logging in, you give us your consent to inform you via e-mail, instant messaging (e.g. Messenger), SMS or post (depending on your chosen communication channels).
Your personal data will also be processed by our contractual partners, who assist us with the preparation and distribution of news, until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

You can become a member of our IKEA Family loyalty club. It is necessary to provide us some mandatory data , but also other optional data, which will help us better understand your interests in our products, services and solutions for your home. To register for the club, you must give your consent not only to the membership terms & conditions, but also to the processing of personal data for the purposes of your membership. You acknowledge that we will collect information about your purchases if you provide your IKEA Family number when making a purchase, but also about interacting with us through your visits to our website, email or participation in our events to let you know if you still an active member, and if we do not record any of the above activity for 5 years, we will terminate your membership and delete your data.
As mentioned above, we analyze data from and about you in order to improve our product range and services. This means that we perform profiling on the legal basis of our legitimate interest, which can lead to a range of products and services that appeal to you more, through electronic communication channels or advertising on websites and social media.
You have the right not to be subject to the profiling for direct marketing purposes. You can exercise this right in the form of an objection to such profiling through our above-mentioned contacts.
If you are logged in to your IKEA Family customer profile, you also have the option of using the IKEA Customer App to use the visualization options of IKEA Kreativ. IKEA Kreativ allows you to scan and upload your rooms using your device's camera, and insert, move and remove IKEA furniture and furnishings from the captured views. You can also move or remove existing furniture and try out countless design ideas. In this context, we process your e-mail address, the photos you take as well as when and how you use IKEA Kreativ. The legal basis for the associated data processing is contract, i.e. the processing of your data is necessary for the fulfilment of our obligations in connection with your use of IKEA Kreativ on the basis of your IKEA Family membership. If you don't save your tried room designs, we'll delete the corresponding data after 30 days. If you save it in the IKEA customer app, we will ask you after two years if you want to keep it and delete it after a further 21 days, unless you instruct us otherwise and unless applicable law obliges or entitles us to continue storing it.
To save a shopping list, suggestions from our planners or to evaluate our products, you need to open an account on the IKEA.cz website based on your consent to the processing of personal data provided in the registration form.
Your personal data will then be processed until cancellation, i.e. until your account is cancelled, or two years after it was last used.
Your customer profile (IKEA Family or IKEA account) includes a sign-in service from AuthO,10900 NE 8th Street, Suite 700, Bellevue, WA 98003 USA (hereinafter referred to as "AuthO"). Standard Contractual Clauses 2010/87 (EU) have been concluded with AuthO to ensure an adequate level of data protection.

AuthO uses single sign-on to verify your identity for all sign-in processes, just with your email address and password to log in. Make sure your password is protected to prevent misuse, and in your own interest, make sure your information is up to date.
You can order our products online. For this purpose we will request the necessary personal data from you. Failure to provide such will mean that it will not be possible to enter into a contractual relationship, and therefore order goods.
Your personal data as specified in the order will also be processed by those of our contractual partners that operate the online store and the delivery service. Your online payment shall be processed by contractual partners. Card payments shall be processed by a company with domicile in the United States of America; for this reason we have adopted the necessary security guarantees based on standard contractual clauses according to the decision of the European Commission. You can request a copy of the guarantees at the contacts listed above. Your personal data will be processed for the period of time necessary to process the order and to process related matters (e.g. claims).
If you are interested, you can order planning of kitchen, bedroom etc. for a specific date through our online service or at a store. Without providing the necessary personal data, it is not possible to enter into a contractual relationship with us, i.e. to order this service and thus book a planning date. In order to allow us to create the right design, we also require information about the dimensions and conditions of the space in which a kitchen, bedroom etc. will be located. You can provide us with this information either directly or through a contractual partner from whom you order professional measurement.
Your personal data will also be processed by contractual partners who either provide us with a system for online orders and services and their administration, or process online card payments. All listed and collected personal data shall be processed only for the period of time strictly necessary for the performance of the contract and the matters arising from it (e.g. claims).
If you wish to get rid of an old or surplus IKEA product, you have the option to offer it to us for repurchase. For this purpose, we will request from you the personal data necessary for the negotiation and, if necessary, concluding a contract, including photographs of the product offered and a description of its condition. It is not possible to conclude a purchase agreement without providing data.
The recipients of your personal data will include the contractual partner that operates the website through which you make the offer to us.
In the event that we accept your offer and you accept our purchase price, we will process your personal data only for the period of time strictly necessary to conclude the contract, and also if required by special regulations (e.g. taxation laws, etc.). Otherwise, we will delete your data one month after the end of the repurchase negotiations.
The assertion of claim is possible only in a store, by e-mail, by telephone, and also via the form on our website. In all cases, we will ask you for the personal data necessary to handle the claim or contact you in this regard.
Your personal data may also be accessed by our contractual partners (for e.g. delivery, assembly, installation, etc.) if their cooperation is required.
The processing period for personal data shall be up to three years following the conclusion of the claim procedure due to the statutory limitation period.
We collect your data when you send an email to our support team or submit a webform. We use your personal data to provide customer support. We review and analyze email and webform data through manual reviews by our team to identify the reasons for contact, to improve our products and services, based on our legitimate interest.
We store the data for up to 90 days, or longer, if necessary, due to claims related to the subject of the email or webform.
We will inform you about the call being recorded before connecting you to our agent. By continuing the call, you give your consent to call recording. Calls are recorded to provide customer support. The call recording is reviewed and analyzed through manual reviews by our team, and transcripts are analyzed using AI technology to identify the reasons for contact, helping us improve our products and services, based on our legitimate interest.
The call is stored for 90 days, or longer, if necessary, due to claims related to the subject of the call.
We collect your data when you start a conversation with Billie, our chatbot, or chat with our support team. This includes the messages you send to and receive from Billie, such as your questions, feedback, or requests for assistance. We use your personal data to provide customer support. We review and analyze chat transcripts through manual reviews by our team and automated AI technology to identify the reasons for contact, helping us improve our products and services, based on our legitimate interest.
We store chat interactions with our support agents for 90 days, or longer, if necessary, due to claims related to the subject of the chat conversation. Chatbot conversations where there was no connection to a live agent are stored for 7 days.
If you order a custom worktop in a store, we will request the necessary personal data from you, including information about the worktop in order to conclude the order, i.e. the purchase agreement. This is the only way we can order the production of the worktop from our contractual partner; it is not possible to order the worktop without the provision of data.
Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the contract and matters arising from it (e.g. claims).
You can order from us both the shipping or delivery of purchased products and their assembly and installation, as well as measurement for proper planning, e.g. for a future kitchen.
In order to provide these services correctly, we will request from you the necessary data, including additional information through a questionnaire on the conditions related to the service. Without this information it will not be possible to enter into a contractual relationship with you, i.e. to provide the service. This data will also be processed by the contractual partners who will provide you with the service on our behalf. Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the contract and matters arising from it (e.g. claims).
If you do not wish to pick up and transport goods yourself, you can order the delivery service for selected products with delivery. For this purpose, we will request from you the personal data necessary to conclude the order, i.e. the contract, and for their delivery to you by our contractual partner.

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of ordering spare parts and shared with a third party - IKEA Components AB. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is IKEA's obligation to process spare parts orders (contract). Personal data will be stored for this purpose for a period of 90 days from the date on which the order is sent.
When buying measured fabrics, as well as other items, we offer you the option of having the purchased goods modified according to your wishes. In order to provide this service, we will request the necessary data from you, including a description of modifications, in order to conclude an order, i.e. the contract.
In addition to our employees, your personal data will also be made available to any contractual partners who provide us with this service, and will be processed for the duration of the contract and matters arising from it (e.g. claims).
If you visit an IKEA store with children, you can leave them to play in the crèche (subject to certain conditions). If your child meets the conditions for playing in the crèche, we will request from both you and the child the personal data necessary to provide this service, i.e. for your and the child's identification, including information about any health restrictions the child may have. Only when we have this information will we able to ensure that your child is safe in the crèche and contact you immediately in the event of an emergency.
The child will be recorded by the camera system during their time in the crèche on the basis of our legitimate interest for the purpose of protecting their belongings and to provide evidence of the circumstances of their time in the crèche in case of injury, loss, etc. The camera system is made available to employees of the store's security staff, which is provided by a contractual partner. Personal data provided will be processed for a period of 1 month at the one-time registration or 3 months since last visit at the long term registration, but security camera records only for 72 hours, and longer only in the event of matters arising from the provision of this service (e.g. if you submit a claim).
You can provide us with feedback etc. on our services in the store. For this purpose you can use a marked kiosk, where you can, but are not required to, provide personal data. If you provide us with data, we will contact you and ask you to explain what you were not satisfied with so that we can improve our services.
We will process your personal data only for the time strictly necessary to deal with your claim, and a maximum of one year from when you provide it.
If any goods are not currently available, we offer you the opportunity to be informed via SMS or e-mail when they become available again. This service is provided for us by a contractual partner from our group of companies. By providing contact details, you give your consent to the processing of your data, which will allow us to send you the requested notification.
Your personal data will be processed until the availability of the goods in stock is restored, i.e. until we send you information about this fact, but for a period not exceeding 45 days.
When you visit one of our stores, we inform you immediately upon entry that the premises are being monitored by a camera system with recording. We use the camera system due to our legitimate interest in and endeavour to protect the assets of our company and other entities. Recordings from the camera system can also be used as evidence in the event of an incident.
Access to the camera system is also available to store security staff provided by a contractual partner. Recordings from the cameras are archived for 72 hours.
We monitor ongoing transactions at tills based on our legitimate interest to prevent fraud and also as evidence in case, for example, when you return home, you find that you are missing a product that you paid for. Monitoring is also performed by the store security service, which is provided by a contractual partner. Along with the camera recording, we also store individual transactions associated with the images captured at the till for a period of up to 72 hours.
If you need to hire a wheelchair when visiting a store, we will ask you for the personal data necessary for your identification based on our legitimate interest to protect our property (wheelchair); your data will be destroyed when the wheelchair is returned.
You may need to transport large items or several products that don't fit in your car, and you don't wish to use our delivery service. If this is the case, we offer you the opportunity to hire a trailer. For this purpose we will ask you for the necessary personal data, including the number of your driver's license, so that we can check that you are authorised to drive a car with a trailer.
We will process your personal data on the basis of the contract for the period of its fulfilment and, if required, for the period of time strictly necessary for the assertion of claims of the contractual parties.
It may happen that you buy more goods from us than you planned and they don't fit in your car, or you didn't come by car. If this is the case, we offer a service for the temporary storage of goods in a cage, for which you will receive a key when you have provided personal data for this service. We shall also use this information if we have to contact you if something happens and you fail to pick up the goods in time. We will destroy your data after you return the cage keys to us.
In the event that injury or damage to your property is caused in one of our stores, we will take a record of it with you in accordance with special regulations and refer the matter to our insurance company. Your personal data will be processed for the period of time necessary on the basis of our and your legitimate interest in order to protect the rights of both parties when addressing your claims as arise from the insurance event.
You may lose something on a visit to one of our stores. In such a case, we will require you to provide the personal data necessary to record such a loss, including a description of the lost item, and so that we can contact you in the event that it is found. We will process your personal data on the basis of your legitimate interest, but for a maximum period of one month.
If you visit our offices or other areas that are not open to the public, we will request from you the personal data necessary to identify you and the person visited based on our legitimate interest in the protection of our company and third parties and to record that you were present on our premises at a certain time (in case of an incident).
We will process your personal data, including the time of your visit, for a period of one year from the date of your visit.

Companies may, through their representatives, register for our IKEA Business Network programme in order to receive special services, whereby their representatives, authorised to act on behalf of the company, must provide the necessary personal data, which will be processed on the basis of our legitimate interest for the purposes of managing the IKEA Business Network account, providing the features and options we offer to companies, informing them about various account-related matters, and obtaining statistical data on the how our customers use IKEA Business Network accounts.

If you utilise our services, we inform you that we may contact you in order to conduct a customer satisfaction survey regarding the service. If you do not refuse in advance, we will send you a questionnaire or a link to it by e-mail, or we will call you.
If you express dissatisfaction with any aspect of the service provided, we will contact you again for more information so that we can address the issue with the contractual partner that provided the service in question and improve the service.
If you create a customer profile and give us the consent to marketing communications, we can contact you with a request to provide us the rating and reviews of our selected product(s).
If you provide us with an email address in connection with your evaluation, you also give us your consent to contact you regarding the evaluation and other administrative matters related to this service.
Your personal data will be also accessed by a contractual partner who operates the Rating and review service for us, Yotpo Inc., 400 Lafayette St. Fl. #4, New York, NY 10003, USA.
To submit an IKEA product rating, you must accept the applicable terms of use. If you then submit a review of the product, we will send your name, email address, priced product and, if applicable, date of purchase and your review to Yotpo, Inc.. It is possible that the submitted data are subject to access by the US authorities for control and monitoring purposes and that no effective legal means are available. We therefore pass your data to Yotpo only with your consent. This consent also constitutes the legal basis for the processing and transfer of your data to Yotpo.
Therefore the standard contractual clauses EU 2010/87 (EU) have been concluded with Yotpo.
Your reviews, including any personal information you may have provided, will be anonymised within two years of their submission. Your rating profile will be deleted after 2 years of inactivity.
You have the opportunity to join the "IKEA Live" online video stream, where our employees present selected products, solutions, ideas and recommendations. Through the chat within the video transmission, you can then communicate with our employees, it is only necessary to choose a name under which you will be identified in the chat. We archive the video transmission recording, including the content of the chat communication, for a maximum of 2 years on the basis of our legitimate interest, so that other customers can also look back at these video transmissions, which will be available on our website during this period. The service for these video transmissions is provided by Bambuser AB (Sweden) to companies of the Ingka Group, of which we are a part.
