IKEA Family membership

  • IKEA Family is a loyalty programme of IKEA. Anyone can join IKEA Family, and it is completely free. All you have to do is to truthfully fill in the mandatory data in the registration form (on the IKEA website or in the IKEA Family kiosk) and approve the terms and conditions of membership, which include consent to the processing and protection of personal data. Based on this duly completed and approved form the customer will receive the IKEA Family card. The customer can use the IKEA Family members' benefits immediately after successful registration and upon presentation of the IKEA Family card at the cash line.

  • You can register free of charge and start enjoying the benefits right now.

    You can find the registration form on the website or at the IKEA Family kiosk in the store. It is necessary to truthfully fill in the mandatory data in the registration form and approve the terms and conditions of membership and give consent to the processing of personal data.

  • Log in to your IKEA Family account, where you can set the ways of communication with IKEA. You can also sign out  by clicking the sign-out link in any IKEA Family newsletter.

  • You can cancel your IKEA Family membership through your account at any time. That way, you'll delete your account and all information associated with it, and you'll lose all IKEA Family membership benefits.

  • Sign into your IKEA Family account and update whatever is necessary. Don't forget to add your phone number and check whether you have listed the correct email address. If you are not receiving the newsletter, check if you've activated the send function. We send good news only.

IKEA Family card

  • We will send you your IKEA Family card through email right after signup. You can also find it in your IKEA Family account, as a QR code in every IKEA Family newsletter, or you can have it sent to your phone as an SMS after visiting the store kiosk.   • If shopping on-line, it is necessary to log into your IKEA Family account on the IKEA website. If you'd like to make use of the IKEA Family offers while in the store, you need to show your IKEA Family card at the cash line. It is regrettably not possible to ask for a discount after the purchase.

  • The IKEA Family card is not transferable and can only be used by the person in whose name the account is registered.

Log-in to IKEA Family account

  • Yes, but we recommend you to create anew registration in the country you like to shop in, so that you can make use of all of the IKEA Family benefits in the Czech Republic.

  • The most loyal IKEA Family members get a nice surprise from us at least once a year in the form of a voucher or a different reward.

  • The restaurant has always one item on the menu at a discount for IKEA Family members. Selected Swedish specialties are also at a discounted price. The offer changes monthly.

  • Each month brings IKEA Family members new products at a discount. You can find the product list here.

  • If you damage something during delivery or assembly, we'll exchange the product within 14 days of purchase. If the entire product is damaged, you will receive a refund card worth the full amount of money spent on the purchase; if a specific part of the product is damaged, we'll get you a spare part. Both options are possible only when using an IKEA Family card during the purchase. To use this service, please bring the the damaged/broken product to one of our stores to the Customer department. 

  • If the products were damaged during agreed-upon services on IKEA's part, it is necessary to solve the issue through a claim procedure. If the products were damaged during your personal assembly, but IKEA has handled the delivery, the "Just in case protection" service starts from the day of delivery.

  • No. The installation of a custom-made worktop requires a certain manner of proficiency. If you damage the worktop during the installation, it is not possible to exchange it.

  • This benefit does not include fabrics, used goods (discounted goods, Second Life of Furniture), Christmas trees, appliances, purchasing IKEA gift cards or spending money in the IKEA Café, Bistro, Restaurant and Swedish Specialties shop.

Digital receipt

  • You have access to your purchase history and your receipts in your IKEA Family account. Purchase history is availbale from the year 2014, but only in case you have used your IKEA Family card during the purchase. Should you need to find an older receipt, contact us directly.

  • If you have used your IKEA Family card during payment, your receipts are safe and sound with us. You only need to show us the IKEA Family card the purchase was made with while returning your goods. You can check your purchase history in your IKEA Family account. If you haven't used the IKEA Family card, it is only possible to return the product with a receipt.

  • You need to have the original receipt with you, in this case.

  • Such products can only be returned with a paper receipt. 

  • The products must be returned in the country of purchase. If you have used an IKEA Family card registered abroad (= a card registered in an IKEA store abroad), you will also need to present the receipt.
