This guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following furniture:

• GODMORGON and ENHET furniture

Bathroom wash-basins

The guarantee for bathroom wash-basins and mixer taps purchased at IKEA remains in force for ten (10) years and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase.

Mixer taps

This guarantee is valid for all bathroom wash-basins including water trap and mixer taps at IKEA. The guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in all bathroom wash-basins and mixer taps. Our products are tested well beyond all relevant international standards and we use only top-brand components to secure our 10-year guarantee promise.

ENHET system furniture and mixer taps

This guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in materials and workmanship. This guarantee covers all the following parts of the ENHET system:

• Cabinets
• Open frames
• Fronts
• Hinges
• Drawers
• Shelves
• Legs
• Accessories (Swivel shelf, hanging shelf insert, rail for hooks and hooks)

Mattresses

This guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in all mattresses. The guarantee covers split seams, damaged springs, broken handles, broken mattress bases and substantial sagging. This guarantee is to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product. It is not transferable.

Products not covered under this guarantee:

This guarantee does not apply to mattress pads, JEMSSHEIM mattresses, RAHOLT mattresses, sofa bed mattresses and children's mattresses.

PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers

This guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in all PAX & KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers. This guarantee is to the benefit of the original purchaser of the product. It is not transferable.

SKYTTA sliding doors

This guarantee applies to domestic use and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components of the SKYTTA sliding doors:

• Door frames
• Door panels
• Rails
• Cover panel
• Ceiling height reducer
• Stop bar
• Fittings

IKEA kitchen, appliances, sinks, taps, worktops, frames, fonts and fixed inside

This guarantee applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship.

A 25-year guarantee.

This guarantee covers all the following parts of the METOD kitchen system:

• Cabinets (except for VADHOLMA and TORNVIKEN)
• Fronts
• UTRUSTA hinges
• MAXIMERA fully-extending drawers
• EXCEPTIONELL fully-extending push-to-open drawers
• UTRUSTA shelves
• Legs and plinths
• Cover panels
• Deco strips/mouldings
• Worktops
• Sinks (except FYNDIG sinks)

A 10-year guarantee.

This guarantee covers all the following parts of ENHET kitchen system:

• Cabinets
• Open frames
• Fronts
• Hinges
• Drawers
• Shelves
• Legs
• Accessories (Swivel shelf, hanging shelf insert, rail for hooks and hooks) 
• ÄSPINGE kitchen
• TORNVIKEN
• VADHOLMA kitchen cabinet and furniture
• UTRUSTA wire basket

A 5-year guarantee.

This guarantee covers the following product:

• UTRUSTA electric push opener

This guarantee covers function, materials and workmanship in all IKEA pots, pans and woks without a non-stick coating. This means that in normal domestic use and provided that our care instructions are followed, they will retain their functionality over time, even after 15 years. Normal use is defined as using an item for cooking and washing it once a day. The guarantee applies to purchases made on or after 1 Sep 2024. 

This guarantee covers function, materials and workmanship in the majority of all IKEA kitchen knives. This means that for normal domestic use and provided that our care instructions are followed, the knives will retain their functionality, even after 15 years. Normal use is defined as using (for cutting food), cleaning the knife by hand once a day and regular sharpening. The guarantee applies to purchases made on or after 1 Sep 2024. 

Sofas, armchairs, sofa-beds, and footstools

Products and parts not covered under this guarantee

• fabric covers
• leather covers

• seating furniture made of rattan, bamboo, or other natural fibers

BROR Storage system

The guarantee covers defects in materials, workmanship and function on all main parts in the BROR storage system from the date of purchase at IKEA.

The following products are not covered under the guarantee:

• BROR workbench with drawers
• BROR shelf divider
• BROR add-on shelf
• BROR tool holder
• BROR drawer 84×39 cm
• BROR drawer 84×54 cm

Desks, tables, storage and work chairs

The guarantee covers defects in materials, workmanship and function on all main parts.
