Create your own cosy fairy tale
The name of the VINTERSAGA series consists of the two Swedish words "vinter", meaning winter, and" saga", meaning fairy tale. The idea is to celebrate festive moments, inviting you to create your own cosy winter fairy tale – with rich chocolates, mulled fruit drink and tasty gingerbread treats in various shapes suitable for this time of the year.
Designer thoughts
Designer thoughts
“I love Christmas and IKEA, so contributing to the VINTERFINT, STRÅLA and VINTERSAGA collections felt like a dream. The design language is minimalist and geometric, inspired by modernism and folk art. In the patterns I play with scale and storytelling where the figures become part of a big and colourful Christmas celebration. I hope my playful design makes wrapping gifts, decorating and enjoying some treats more fun, so that you can celebrate Christmas with more joy."
