3. Member benefits

3.1

It should be worthwhile being a member with us. We promise that you as a member always have certain member benefits, such as member prices on home furnishing and in the restaurant, newsletters and invitations to various events.

3.2

We do not guarantee that your member benefits will always be the same and we reserve the right to remove, change, replace or offer you new member benefits at any time.

4. Rewards from IKEA Family

4.1

As an IKEA Family member, you collect points that you can use for rewards. To enjoy rewards from IKEA Family, you need to have an active IKEA Family account with the possibility to log in to IKEA.se.

4.2

How do I collect points?

You collect points on all your purchases from 50:-, regardless of whether you buy products or services, online, in physical stores or planning studios, and when you shop in IKEA Restaurant & Café, Bistro and Matbutiken.

You do not collect points when you buy gift cards.

You can also collect points on a weekly basis by being active at IKEA in various ways, such as logging in as an IKEA Family member online or in the IKEA app, creating and saving shopping lists, or booking and attending personal planning meetings (excluding kitchen planning). Note that you can usually only earn points for these activities once a week for each type of interaction. For example, you can log in to your IKEA Family account several times in the same week, but you will only receive points for the first login.

Detailed information about all earning activities and the exact number of points that can be earned on purchases and activities can be found in your IKEA Family account on IKEA.se or in the IKEA app. IKEA reserves the right to change the number of points that can be earned for purchases and activities as well as change activities and purchases that allow customers to collect points. Information about such changes can be found inyour IKEA Family account.

To collect points for online purchases and activities, you must be logged in to your IKEA Family account; and for purchases and activities in the store, you must identify yourself with a driver's license, social security number, mobile number or digital IKEA Family card. If you do not identify your membership during a purchase or activity, you will not be able to do so later, even if you have a receipt or other proof of the purchase or activity. The identification is important because for technical reasons it is not possible for us to assign points to IKEA Family members who were not identified at the time of purchase or activity. The identification of the membership in-store or online is the sole responsibility of the customer.

If you earned points for a purchase, but then return the purchased item(s), we will deduct points from your points balance, based on the value of the returned item(s). Since you earn 1 point for every 50:- spent, this means that you can ultimately get more points if you buy several items in the same purchase compared to if you had bought the items separately. However, this also means that if you later return one of the items, you may lose more points than the value of the item itself. Returning an item can also lead to a negative points balance on your IKEA Family account, but in this case, IKEA will not make any claim against you, nor are there any obligations attached to it.

Points are non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They can only be used as an exchange for various rewards made available by IKEA Family. Points are valid for a period of 18 months from the date of collection (i.e., the date of the activity or purchase that triggered the points). After this date, the points will automatically expire.

You can see how many points you've collected as well as available rewards in your IKEA Family account. Points will appear in your IKEA Family account within 48 hours after you have completed a purchase or activity. Please note that a purchase is not complete until all products in your order have been received.

4.3

How can I use my points?

Once you've collected enough points and these points have been registered to your IKEA Family account (which can take up to 48 hours), your rewards will automatically be unlocked so that they can be selected in your IKEA Family account. If you find a reward that you like (provided you have enough points), you can choose it. The required number of points will then be deducted from your points balance, you will have access to your voucher and voucher code in your IKEA Family account and will also get an email confirming your choice. After you have chosen the reward, it will not be possible to return it and get the corresponding points back.

You can redeem the voucher in-store, at IKEA.se, in the IKEA app or by contacting Customer Service. The voucher can only be used once and will expire if not used within thirty (30) days from the date it was issued. This means that the voucher will be consumed immediately, and this will apply even if the order or purchase is later cancelled or returned.

Rewards may change over time, depending on the availability of products and services in our stores, but also on customer interests and needs. This means that we cannot guarantee that a specific reward is available at the time you wish to use it.

Please note that you can only collect points for rewards with your IKEA Familymembership. IKEA Business Network customers do not have access to rewards fromIKEA Family.
