We have lots of different delivery options, from home delivery for heavy furniture to parcel deliveries for smaller orders. Choose the delivery method that suits you and your wallet.

Delivery options
We do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible. When you add your products to your shopping bag on IKEA.se or when you talk to an IKEA co-worker at your store, we will tell you which delivery options are best for your order.
Delivery options may vary depending on the products you order and where you live.
Alternatives for parcels
Parcel to pick-up point, from 19:-
Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery
- Minimum order value for delivery: 99:-
- Price: 19:- for purchases over 299:-, for you who are (or become) IKEA Family member.
- Price for purchases under 299:- or without membership: 49:-
- Delivery method: With PostNord to your selected pick-up point.
- Package weight and size: Max 20 kg, max 150x60x60 cm.
- Delivery date: You will receive a time and date from PostNord.
- Track your delivery: In the PostNord App.
- At pick-up: Show ID or use the PostNord App, identification via BankID.
- The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.
Parcel locker, from 19:-
Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery
- Minimum order value for delivery: 99:-
- Price: 19:- for purchases over 299:-, for you who are (or become) IKEA Family member.
- Price for purchases under 299:- or without membership: 49:-
- Delivery method: With PostNord to your selected parcel locker.
- Package weight and size: Max 20 kg, max 22x42x56 cm.
- Delivery date: You will receive a time and date from PostNord.
- Track your delivery: In the PostNord App.
- At pick-up: To collect the parcel and open the parcel locker, you will need the latest version of the PostNord App and mobile BankID.
- The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.
Small parcel (varubrev) – home delivery, from 29:-
Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery
- Minimum order value for delivery: 99:-
- Price: 29:- for purchases over 299:-, for you who are (or become) IKEA Family member.
- Price for purchases under 299:- or without membership: 39:-
- Delivery method: By PostNord to your mailbox or front door.
- Package weight and size: 0-2 kg, max 24x24x7 cm
- Delivery date: From 24 hours, depending on availability of products and where you live.
- Track your delivery: PostNord will notify you by text or email.
- The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.
Parcel to home, from 39:-
Nordic swan ecolabel - delivery
- Minimum order value for delivery: 99:-
- Price: 39:- (up to 20 kg) or 89:- (up to 75 kg) for purchases over 799:-, for you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member.
- Price for purchases under 799:- or without membership: 79:- (up to 20 kg) or 129:- (up to 75 kg).
- Dimensions: Max length 150 cm. Max length + circumference 300 cm.
- Delivery method: With PostNord, to your front door. Please note that your delivery may be split into multiple parcels.
- Estimated delivery time: You will receive an estimated delivery date at checkout. You will then receive a suggested time and date for delivery in the PostNord App/SMS. You can always change your delivery time.
- Track your delivery: In the PostNord App. PostNord will notify you when your order is available.
- At delivery: You must be home to receive packages over 20 kg. Packages under 20 kg that don’t fit in the mailbox are always left at the door unless you have selected a signature requirement. To receive the package personally, you can activate this in the PostNord app.
- Please note: Parcels over 20 kg with home delivery are always left at the property boundary or the entrance of the apartment building, regardless of whether an elevator is available. The parcel must always be signed for by you as the customer. PostNord will contact you in advance if relevant.
- The products need to be available at the IKEA Central Parcel Unit.

Curbside delivery, from 299:-
- Minimum order value for delivery: 99:-
- Price for 0-150 kg: 299:- for purchases over 799:-, for you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member. Previous lowest price: 299:-
- Price for 150-300 kg: 499:- for purchases over 799:-, for you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member. Previous lowest price: 499:-
- Price for purchases under 799:- or without membership: 499:- (0-150 kg) or 699:- (150-300 kg).
- Orders over 300 kg: Always a Indoor delivery.
- Delivery method: Orders are delivered to the curbside near the front door (apartment) or property boundary (villa).
- Delivery time: Depending on availability of products and where you live. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will be informed of the earliest possible delivery date – in many cases, we can offer delivery within 24 hours. The carrier will always contact you before delivery.
- Track your delivery: See the link in your order confirmation.
- At delivery: Show ID. Couriers show both IDs.
- Please note: The order may arrive on a steel pallet or trolleys which will be taken back immediately.
Indoor delivery, from 699:-
- Minimum order value for delivery: 99:-
- Price for 0-300 kg: 699:- for purchases over 799:-, for you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member. Previous lowest price: 699:-
- Price for 300-500 kg: 1299:- for purchases over 799:-, for you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member. Previous lowest price: 1299:-
- Price for over 500 kg: 1899:- for purchases over 799:-, for you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member. Previous lowest price: 1899:-
- Price for purchases under 799:- or without membership: 899:- (0-300 kg), 1499:- (300-500 kg), or 2099:- (over 500 kg).
- Delivery method: The order will be brought inside your house or apartment to a location of your choosing.
- Delivery time: Depending on availability of products and where you live. When you enter your postcode at checkout, you will be informed of the earliest possible delivery date – in many cases, we can offer delivery within 24 hours. The carrier will always contact you before delivery.
- Track your delivery: See the link in your order confirmation.
- At delivery: Show ID. Couriers show both IDs.
- Please note: Prepare a clear path to and into your home/premises so that the items can be left in your designated place, without injuring people or damaging property. If there is a road barrier, you, as the customer are responsible for ensuring that the key is available at the time of delivery and that permission to enter with a transport vehicle is granted.

- When picking up: Bring your order confirmation and ID. Couriers show both IDs.
- If you don’t make it in time: Your items will be held for 48 hours after your selected time slot.
Pick-up point, from 199:-

- Price for 0-150 kg: 199:- for purchases over 399:-, for you who are (or become) an IKEA Family member. Previous lowest price: 199:-

- Delivery method: You collect your order from one of our partners at your chosen pick-up point. See a list of partners with various opening hours.
- Pick-up date: The earliest possible delivery date is visible when you have added items and entered the postcode in the checkout.
- Track your delivery: See the link in your order confirmation.
- Ready for pick-up: You will be notified by SMS when your order is ready for pick-up.
- At pick-up: Show your order number and ID, couriers show both IDs.
- If you don't make it in time: Your order is held for 72 hours.
Rental trailer, from 0:-
- Price in-store: 0:- when booking the trailer in-store via the Freetrailer app and connected to IKEA WiFi. The trailer is free for 4 hours.
- Price outside the store: 49:- when booking the trailer from home or outside the store via the Freetrailer app.
- Price after 4 hours: 29:- per started hour.
- Optional add-on: Insurance, 69:-
- Delivery method: Pick-up your order yourself with a trailer located at the store. The trailer is rented via Freetrailer.
- Please note: Trailers are not available at all our locations. Check freetrailer.com (by clicking the link, you will be redirected to a Swedish website) to see if this service is available at your IKEA store.
Alternatives for boat
Archipelago Delivery, 2 499:-
- Minimum order value for delivery: 99:-
- Price: 2 499:-
- Delivery Method: We pick and deliver your order to the designated ferry terminal. The carrier will contact you to determine the specific delivery date. When you enter your postal code at checkout, you can see whether we can deliver to your ferry terminal.
- Please note: The carrier will contact you with the exact date and information about your delivery. Please note that guidelines may vary depending on the terminal, and the carrier will provide you with all the necessary information for your order.
Need help removing your old furniture?
With our removal service, we take care of your old furniture when we deliver the new ones. No stress, no heavy lifting, and no problem-solving for you.
How IKEA delivery service works
- Shop online or in-store. We offer you the same delivery options wherever you choose to shop.
- Book delivery. If you shop online, you will be shown the options at checkout. If you shop in-store or by phone, our co-workers will help you find the best delivery option for you.
- We are processing your purchase. In the meantime, read up on your delivery. For indoor deliveries, you need to prepare for your products to be brought inside.
- You will be notified when your order is on its way. The carrier will contact you before delivery. You can also track your delivery here. If you are waiting for a parcel, you can track your delivery in the PostNord App.
- Receive your delivery. Or collect it from the pick-up point if you chose this option. At the delivery, you will need to show ID. Couriers show both IDs.
- After delivery. If you notice damage to the packaging or product, or if you have received an incorrect product or an incorrect quantity of products, please contact IKEA Customer Service immediately so that we can help you in the best possible way.

Good to know
- You can track your delivery here or use the link in your order confirmation.
- Is your delivery divided into several deliveries? We do everything we can to make sure you can order the products you want. That means we might sometimes have to pick your products from different warehouses if not all products are available in one place. Your order will then be split into several deliveries. IKEA will of course cover the extra shipping costs. You get this information from the sales co-worker in-store or online at checkout. You can also find it in your order confirmation, which you receive via email.
- When booking a home delivery, please let us know if there is anything we need to know about stairs, gate codes, barriers, etc.
- If you have ordered a indoor delivery, you need to clear a path to and into your home/premises so that the items can be left in your designated place, without injuring people or damaging property. Please remember to protect your floors. If there is a road barrier, you, as the customer are responsible for ensuring that the key is available at the time of delivery and that permission to enter with a transport vehicle is granted. Make sure your delivery will fit through all doorways, halls, stairs or lifts in your home or building. For dimensions, look under “Package details” on individual product pages.
- For deliveries to an apartment, please make sure someone is available to receive the delivery at the door or gate.
- It is possible to have real plants delivered to your home. Please note that you are responsible for packaging the plant when you shop with us in-store so that we can transport it without damaging it. If you are shopping via IKEA.se, your postcode will determine whether you can order real plants.
