Why does IKEA not have a warranty on lighting?
IKEA does not communicate any guarantee on LED lighting as we instead promise a lifespan of 15, 000 to 25,000 hours.
Our LED products are designed for long-term durability. A lifespan of 15,000-25,000 hours corresponds to approximately 10-20 years of use, based on the lighting being used for about three hours per day. Therefore, we do not have a separate warranty on our LED products.
All products in the lighting range are covered by a three-year warranty.
