Why should I book a kitchen planning meeting?

Our kitchen planning service is designed to help you bring your dream kitchen to life. It includes a personal meeting with a kitchen specialist, either in-store, at a Plan & Order point, online, or in your own home.

The result of a kitchen planning appointment is a professional 3D design, a complete product list, a price estimate, and cost estimates for additional services such as delivery and other services, giving you the confidence to move forward with your kitchen project.
We can also support you with any financing questions you may have regarding your kitchen
If you need help in any of the situations below, our kitchen planning services are perfect for you.
  • Create your complete kitchen design from scratch
If you have ideas and measurements for your space but haven’t started a design yet, a planning appointment is the perfect way to begin. A kitchen specialist will guide you through the process and help you design a kitchen that suits your space, budget, and needs, ensuring you don’t miss any important details.
  • Getting expert validation on the design your created yourself
If you have already created a drawing in our planning tool, you can submit it for validation directly through the tool. A validation helps ensure that all the details are correct and that the layout functions properly before you make your purchase.

Once your drawing has been reviewed, a kitchen specialist will contact you by phone. If only minor adjustments are needed, the specialist can make these immediately. If major changes are required, we recommend a kitchen planning appointment.
  • Get help finalising your design and placing your kitchen order
If you have a completed design from a previous visit and are ready to buy, you can book a planning appointment to finalise your order. A kitchen specialist will help you review and complete your product list, place the order, and discuss additional options such as financing, delivery, and installation services.

Once you’ve decided to book a kitchen planning appointment with IKEA, simply choose a suitable date, time and location through our booking calendar.
