How do I mount cover panels on my kitchen island?
To make it as easy as possible to attach cover panels to the kitchen island, we recommend using the METOD connector rail for cabinet and cover panel.
Mounting cover panels on the back of the kitchen island
When mounting cover panels on the “back” of the kitchen island, we always recommend letting the cover panels extend about 1.5 cm on the side of the kitchen island, where it meets the short side’s cover panel. This way, the cover panels will align nicely with each other from the back to the short side.
To attach the cover panels to the back of the frame, use the METOD connector rail for cabinet/cover panel. With its help, the cover panels are hooked at the bottom and screwed at the top from the inside of the cabinet.

We recommend placing the cover panels with a 1.5 cm overhang from the frame forward so that they align with the front, as in the rest of the kitchen.
Depending on your kitchen island solution, you may need to cut the cover panel at the back.
