"The idea behind UPPÅKRA was to design a sofa that feels like a big, warm hug. The inspiration came from everyday life at home – how families live, connect and use their sofa. Top comfort was key, along with plenty of space for everyone to hang out. The feeling is that you really sink into the sofa, and I also chose fabrics that are soft and pleasant against the skin. I believe a comfy sofa can transform home life – and I hope UPPÅKRA will be that sofa!"
