Choosing a mattress size is step number one when shopping for a new mattress. And to make sure you’re comfortable at night, there are a few basic guidelines to look for when finding the perfect size.
You should ideally have about 10cm between your feet and the bottom of the mattress when lying flat on your back, with your head on the pillow. And when it comes to width, you should be able to slide both hands under the pillow when lying on your front, and not have your elbow reach the edge of the bed.
Mattress dimensions
We offer many different mattress sizes, ready for the bed you own, from IKEA or not. Below is a breakdown of all the mattresses we sell.
The standard single mattress is 190 cm (75 inches) in length, while the standard double, king, and super king mattresses are all 200 cm (78 inches) long, differing only in width.

Choosing the right size mattress and bed
Space is one of the biggest factors when choosing the size of your bed frame and mattress. Make sure you measure your bedroom space (twice!) before committing to the size. Mattresses differ in length and width, depending on how many people will be sleeping in the bed and/or how much space each person needs to get a good night's sleep.
