Things to know before you go
- Measure your space. Be sure you measure your space before you visit! There’s nothing worse than bringing home your new dresser or other piece of furniture and realizing it doesn’t fit.
- Make room in your car. Check the product description on the website before you come to make sure your items will fit in your car. Also, be sure to clean out your car to make room for your new furniture!
- Bring an appetite. Take a break from shopping and swing by the Swedish Restaurant and/or the Swedish Food Market to get a delicious, affordable snack or meal. Meatballs, salmon, sweet treats, kids’ meals and so much more!
IKEA stores, Plan & order points and Pick-up points
From the colour of your kitchen cabinets to the height of your houseplant, with IKEA, you’re in complete control. At our stores and Plan and order points, you can touch and try out our products, get professional help from one of our IKEA co-workers and get inspired.
At our larger stores, you can buy products to take home the same day or collect products ordered online. They have everything you need for a family day out, from meatballs to a playroom for little ones.
In smaller city-stores, you can touch and try products from our range, order for delivery or collection, collect products ordered online from Pick-up points and buy selected products to take home the same day.

Let us come to you with online shopping at IKEA.com. Browse and get inspired, order for delivery or collection and lots more, all from the comfort of your home. You can even use IKEA.com for in-store shopping – try creating a shopping list and checking stock availability before visiting an IKEA store.
IKEA app
From planning to buying, our mobile app can inspire you and make shopping simpler wherever you are. With the IKEA app, you can purchase items directly on the app or use it in store to scan products as you go and to make paying easier and faster.
