How do I scan my items with my mobile in the store?
With the IKEA app, you can easily scan your items while walking around the store, and then pay at one of our payment terminals near the checkouts. On this page, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to use scan and pay in the app when you visit one of our stores. Here's how to use scan and pay in the IKEA app:
- Start by downloading the IKEA app via Google Play or the App Store and log in with your credentials.
- Open the IKEA app and click on the person icon.
- Activate "Scan items in store" by checking the button and selecting your preferred store from the list that appears. Then scan the items before placing them in your cart and select the correct quantity – remember bags for your items if you need them.
- Finished shopping? Click "Complete and pay" to bring up the QR code, scan this at the quick checkout to pay with your preferred payment method.
- Once the payment is completed, a receipt is sent to your email address. The IKEA app then generates a new QR code that you use to exit through the gate. If you have items to pick up at the collection point, you will also receive a code for this. Done. It's that simple! Are you an IKEA Family member? Remember to add it to the app so that it is always registered automatically when you pay.
To pick up your order, you need to have the order confirmation ready. Show it either on your mobile phone or as a printout when you are at the store or one of our pickup points. If you are purchasing larger products, it might be wise to consider bringing help, as we unfortunately cannot assist with carrying items to your car.
