Transfer a product to another store

At IKEA, we believe that an easy logistic impacts both the planet and the people. Having a simple and straight-forward transportation from producer to warehouses allows us to secure low product prices as well as limit our CO2 emissions. But this means as well that we cannot transfer articles from store to store.

  • Can I exchange products I bought at another IKEA store?

    Yes, you can!

  • How do I buy a product from a gift list?

    If you have received a link to someone’s gift list, you can buy the product on the website or in a store.

  • Can I return products purchased from the Re-use Shop?

    Yes, you can! For products purchased from the Re-use Shop, you need the receipt or the price tag that was attached to the product to return it.

  • Can I purchase the products in a gift registry at IKEA stores?

    Yes, you can. Go to the gift registry, click "Start in-store shopping" and once you are done with the purchase, mark the gifts as "Purchased".

  • How do I know that the product from an gift registry list has been purchased successfully?

    Once a product has been purchased online, it will be marked as "Gifted" in the gift registry. If the product has been purchased in-store and marked off by the respective gift giver, you will see a "Purchased" label on the gift registry.
