How far will the driver carry my delivery?
How far the driver carries your delivery depends on the conditions at your location and the delivery option you've chosen.
What affects how far the goods are carried?
Our drivers always do their best to help, but a few things affect how far they can carry:
- Good conditions (smooth surfaces and access to a trolley) = longer carry.
- Challenging conditions (stairs, gravel, or obstacles) = shorter carry.
- Safety always comes first - our drivers have the right to say no if carrying isn't safe.
Sometimes the driver can help a bit extra if there's time, but we can't guarantee it. They have a route with several deliveries and need to reach all customers on schedule.
Tip: Make sure the delivery path is clear and accessible to help the driver carry your goods as far as possible.
Delivery options
When you place your order, you can choose Indoor delivery. If you choose Curbside delivery, the goods will be placed at the first obstacle, such as the main door at street level. If you need extra help, order Indoor delivery.

This delivery option is best if you prefer the flexibility of not committing to an in-home service, as these orders are delivered to the front door of your home or building/foyer if you live in apartment. 'Authority to Leave' is automatically applied to your order, meaning the delivery driver will leave your order in a safe and secure location if you’re not at home.
