How does «Express indoor delivery» work?
Get your items delivered within 1-2 working days in the store's local area. We place the items together in the room of your choice, regardless of floor. On the delivery day, you'll receive SMS updates and a tracking link.
How to order
- Add the items to your shopping bag.
- Go to checkout and select «Express indoor delivery» among the options under delivery or collection.
- If you're an IKEA Family member and logged in, you'll automatically get a lower delivery price.
- Don't see the option? This may be because you live outside the delivery area, or the item is not in stock.
- Choose from the available dates and delivery times.
- Continue and complete your order.
What happens after ordering?
- Once we've processed your order, you'll receive an order confirmation by email.
- Check that everything is correct.
Changing your order or delivery time
- This type of order cannot be changed.
- If you want to make changes, you can cancel the entire order and place a new one, or return the items you don't want to keep after delivery.
Cancellation
- Want to cancel? Contact us and we'll help you.
- If you cancel, 50% of the delivery price will be refunded.
How we keep you updated on delivery day
- The carrier will contact you before delivery, so you know when we're on our way.
- On the delivery day, you'll receive a tracking link by SMS, so you can easily follow your order.
- You'll get SMS updates about when we expect to arrive.
- If anything unexpected happens, the driver will call you on the number you provided in your order.
- The carrier will contact you when they arrive at your address.
- You or a person over 18 years old must be home to receive the delivery. Can't be home? Contact us and we'll find a new time that suits you.
How to best prepare for delivery day
- Make sure the truck can reach the delivery location.
- Prepare for the delivery: Move things that are in the way, and cover the floor to protect it.
- Items are delivered together to the room you've chosen, regardless of floor. If they're too large to carry inside, they'll be placed outside.
After delivery
Discovered an error, or is something damaged or missing? Contact us and we'll sort it out!
To use this service, add your desired items to your cart, choose 'Home Delivery' at checkout and select the 'To the Door Delivery' option. Provide accurate delivery details and confirm your order. You'll receive a confirmation email and SMS with delivery details, and on delivery day, ensure clear access and that someone over 18 is present. If you notice any issues (such as missing or damaged items), inform the driver on site and contact IKEA customer support.
