The footstool has a generous storage space under the seat for you to keep things you need close at hand and still have the area around the sofa neat and tidy.
This cover is made from Kelinge fabric in soft polyester. The wide-wale corduroy is thick, comfortable and soft to the touch, with a slight lustre that gives it a nice and cosy look.
The cover is easy to keep clean since it can be machine washed and is easy to take off and put on again.

The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 50,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.

I like the size, theSelmaI like the size, the colour I chose, and the corduroy fabric. I didn’t rate this higher because the cloth cover does NOT completely fit over the padded top of this very large foot stool. 2 corners still show white under padding, despite my having ironed the cloth and stretched it as much as I could to fit. Since my home is hundreds of kilometres away from nearest IKEA store, I won’t return it by courier.4
