Grilled cinnamon buns with ice cream
Looking for a sweet and super-easy dessert? Food Designer Daniel Yngvesson suggests this delicious treat as a fun and yummy way to recycle any stale buns you may have lying around. Top with your favourite ice cream, berries, icing sugar, maple syrup and chopped almonds, and enjoy.

Ingredients
- 4 KAFFEREP cinnamon buns, baked and preferably a few days old
- 4 scoops ice cream
- 1 dl berries
- 2 tbsp almonds, chopped
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp icing sugar
Step by step
- Heat your grill to medium-high temperature. Place the cinnamon buns on the grill and cook them until they have an even, golden brown colour.
- Remove the buns from the grill and let cool slightly. Cut each bun in half and fill them with your favourite ice cream, berries, and chopped almonds.
- Drizzle some maple syrup on top, and finish with a dusting of icing sugar. Yum!
