VITVAL Loft bed frame with desk top, white/light grey, 90x200 cm
How to get it
The desk top is large enough for a laptop and books, but still gives you enough room to fit a cosy nook of pillows or storage space next to it.

You can easily keep the workspace neat and tidy since there is built-in cable management and a channel that holds pens in place.
A metal panel is angled against the desk top which has the same height as an A4 piece of paper, perfect to use as a magnetic noticeboard.
Easy to assemble since the fabric is divided into sections and the edge bands are elastic.
The construction is light but steady, and has soft shapes.

This product is made up of more than one component. You can find the details of these components below.

Form design process
More relaxing, less materials
The idea with VITVAL loft bed and bunk bed was to make comfortable and cosy beds for all children who like hanging out with their phones, tablets and friends. But we also wanted to limit the amount of metal in the beds. So how do you achieve two so different goals at the same time? Our solution was to make the bed edges out of a strong polyester fabric that gave the bed a nice and cosy feel ― and we thereby reduced the metal by 30% in each bed.

What is steel?
Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.
