Reviews

Irremovable sealAnonymous reviewerThe product itself is sturdy and nice looking, but the product seal is not only the size of an adult hand, it's impossible to remove! I spend several days, trying to remove it. Only by using half a bottle of break cleaner was I finally able to remove it. And the glue didn't just come of, it melted and stuck to anything it dropped onto, including the cloth to wipe it off and my hands. This is unacceptable for a product that is supposed to be used for food consumption.1

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
