Kitchen / Bathroom Installation service

About the service  

  • The kitchen / bathroom installation service is provided under the service contract to be formed between you and the installation company at the time the installation company accepts the order of the service which IKEA receives from you on their behalf. The terms and conditions of installation contract shall be stipulated in the terms and conditions set forth by the installation company. Please also refer to "IKEA Terms and Conditions for Sale of Products" on the IKEA website.

Preparation before the service date

  • Except for some cases, please use the on-site verification service and/or measurement service to confirm the site in advance of the installation service.
  • Installation service on the same day as the delivery date cannot be arranged. If you are using the delivery service, please receive it at least 1 day in advance.
  • Please carry the product in advance near the place where it is planned to be installed. If you are using the delivery service, please prepare by taking advantage of the option to be brought in the room. Please have a prior meeting with the installation company at the time of on-site verification service and/or measurement service to confirm where to assemble it, and where to store the product after delivery.
  • If you have any problems with your delivery route in the building, please contact delivery company in advance. The installation company does not help to move furniture.  
  • Please make use of the necessary space in advance depending on the size of the furniture. Depending on the product, it is necessary to have at least 1 m of left and right front and rear for both the height and width of the furniture because it is assembled in a laying state. (Please discuss with the installation company at the time of on-site verification service and/or measurement service. )
  • If you use installation service without on-site verification service and/or measurement service, the works may be discontinued if it is difficult due to the situation at the site. In that case, we will reschedule the installation date after providing you with a new estimate.
  • Even after the installation is completed, maintenance of the product is required periodically. Please check regularly, such as re-tightening screws and adjusting the cabinet door. 

About the Change of the service date and cancellations of service

  • For the change of service date, please contact the Customer Support Center (TEL: 050-4560-0494) by 17:00 two days before the installation service date. If you contact us after this time but before noon the day before the service date, a reschedule fee or cancellation fee of 50% of the service fee will be charged. If you cancel the service after noon the day before the service date (even if you wish to reschedule, it will be treated as a cancellation if you contact us after noon the day before), 100% of the service fee will be charged as a cancellation fee, and no refund will be provided.
