How to check delivery fee

Delivery fee for online purchases are displayed when you enter your delivery zip code on the cart to purchase screen. Please ask the staff when you would like to get your purchase delivered from IKEA store.

About delivery date and time

• The delivery date can be set within 3 to 30 days from the order date (depending on the delivery area and congestion).
• Time can be specified (depends on delivery area and congestion)

For orders received on or after June 3, 2024 (Monday), the 2,000 yen holding fee will be eliminated and delivery dates can be specified within 30 days from the date of purchase if you request delivery on or after the 15th day from the date of purchase.

Note for customers considering large items

If you are thinking about purchasing large-size furniture such as Sofa/Mattress/PAX Wardrobe, etc., please note that large package products may not pass through narrow doors or stairs to your room. Please check the package size and delivery route before purchasing.

How to use the service

<Online Store>

Please enter the required information from the shopping cart and proceed to payment. The price will be automatically calculated according to the size, weight, and delivery address of the purchased items.
If you have a coupon, please enter it in the shopping cart.

<IKEA store>

At IKEA stores, please ask the staff before you pick up your items. It is convenient to write down the product name and number of the item you want to buy first.

Important notes

• Delivery service is not available in some areas such as remote islands.
• Foods and plants are not eligible. 
• Your purchase is considered either parcel or truck delivery depending on the volumne of your purchase automatically.  Delivery fee is caluculated by the volume, weight, purchase amount.
• For delivery within the main area, if the conditions are met, truck delivery fee will be reduced by half from 4,500 yen (delivery at the front door) or 5,500 yen (delivery to the room) within the main area. Delivery fee outside the main area will be discounted by 2,250 yen (delivery at the front door) or 2,750 yen (delivery to the room).
• For large shipments, 1 item: within 170cm/30kg in weight, 1 order: within 40kg in weight, and the purchase price exceeds 45,000 yen, the discount is half of 2,500 yen if within the main area, or 1,250 yen if outside the main area.
• Delivery fee discount applies only for IKEA Family and IKEA Business Network members.  Show your membership number at the store or login  to shop online.
• Receipts for purchases at Swedish restaurant, Swedish food markets and Swedish bistros, various service charges and gift cards are not eligible.
• When used in conjunction with other discount offers, this campaign is available only when the respective conditions are met after the discount is applied.
• Truck deliveries cannot be specified for curve-side delivery.
• Please be sure to let us know at the time of order if you wish to have it delivered to your room or at your door. We do not accept changes after payment has been made.
• If you choose delivery to your room, our delivery staff will bring the items to the room you specify. Please inform the delivery staff of the product number and room.
• Delivery is carried out by a partner delivery company and transport is subject to the terms and conditions of carriage stipulated by the delivery company.
• Please check the package size of the product on the back of the product tag, or on the website.
• Individual zipcodes of businesses are not supported.
  If a product purchased with a discount from a campaign is returned and thus no longer qualifies for the campaign conditions, a refund will be made after deducting the amount of the discount from the price of the product.
