Return policy

It's okay to change your mind!

Return Policy: You can return assembled furniture and used items within 365 days of purchase, provided certain conditions are met. We accept returns for all home furnishing products and unopened food items, with the exception of certain items such as those from our furniture buy-back service.

*Outlet items can only be returned within 14 days of receipt.
*Returns for food items and cut products will be refunded using our designated return card.

How to return: You can return items either in-store or via delivery. Please bring the product along with proof of purchase, such as a receipt, invoice (which you will receive via email after the service is completed for online purchases), or IKEA Family purchase history, to the returns counter/customer service counter (in city shops). Registering your return in advance using the link below will ensure a smoother process.

If you wish to return the product by delivery, please contact the Customer Support Centre. In addition, the return shipping fee will be borne by the customer. 

*IKEA Pop-up Store, IKEA Kyoto and IKEA Yokohama Bay Quarter do not accept returns and exchanges of products purchased at other stores. Please bring them to your nearest IKEA store.

Exchange policy

Exchange conditions: If you encounter any issues with the assembly or usage of a product within one year of purchase from our store or online store, and the product has defects (such as damage or missing parts), we will exchange it. For information on how to exchange items in-store, please refer to the link.

It's okay if you make a mistake in assembling! : If you are an IKEA Family member, we will exchange it for free for 14 days from the date of purchase. Shipping charges for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer

How to Exchange: You can exchange items either in-store or via delivery. Please bring the product along with proof of purchase (receipt, invoice (which you will receive via email for online purchases), or IKEA Family purchase history) to the returns counter at the IKEA store where you made the purchase. If a defect is confirmed in the item you brought, we will generally refund the product price. If you wish to exchange the item, please repurchase it. Please note that if you wish to exchange only parts, it may take some time to prepare them at the returns counter.

If you wish to exchange items via delivery, please contact our Customer support centre. For customers using small item delivery, if there is any damage such as breakage, scratches, or stains caused by delivery, you can request an exchange from your order history.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: You can change or cancel an order purchased from the online store.
*Depending on the shipping status of the order, it may not be possible to change or cancel it. Please note. 

How to cancel: If you have an account, please log in and cancel from the purchase history. If you do not have an account, please check the details with your order number and email address or mobile phone number.

Find and order screws, camlocks and dowels from BILLY, HEMNES, POÄNG, MALM and other IKEA products. It will be delivered in about 10 days with free shipping. *Please note that in some cases it may take more than 10 days.
