How can I get help from IKEA with the design of my IKEA kitchen?

At IKEA, we offer several ways for you to consult with a kitchen specialist at your convenience. You can choose between an "in-store planning appointment" and an "online planning appointment" to suit your preferences and lifestyle.

Here are some ways to get support for your IKEA kitchen design:

In-store planning appointment

At your nearest IKEA store, you can have a one-on-one consultation with a kitchen specialist for up to two hours. You can finalize your design while actually seeing and touching the products. This service is free.
An in-store planning appointment is recommended for those who:
  • Want a thorough, in-person consultation.
  • Want to see and touch the kitchen and parts in person before making a final decision.
  • Can accurately measure their space beforehand.

Online planning appointment

Plan your kitchen with a kitchen specialist via video call from your home. The first session is up to 2 hours (subsequent sessions are 1 hour), and storage planning consultations are up to 1 hour. We will design your new kitchen together right before your eyes while sharing screens. This service is also free.
An online planning appointment is recommended for those who:
  • Want the convenience of planning their kitchen from home.
  • Are comfortable with online meetings and screen sharing.
  • Have already accurately measured their space and have a good idea of their preferred style online.

How do I book a planning appointment?

The process for booking a kitchen planning appointment is simple. You can book just by choosing your preferred date, time, and location (in-store or online) from the kitchen planning page.
The reservations can be made at least 2 days after the date of application. We cannot accept today's reservations. However, there are some dates that cannot be booked, such as when the reservation is already full.
*Appointments for a kitchen planning service can only be booked online, not by phone or email.
