At IKEA, we offer professional interior design services for both individual and business customers, available online, in-store, or at your location. No matter the size of your project, our experts will meet your needs and propose a solution you'll love, all within your budget!

All of our interior design services are available online, in-person, or from the comfort of your home or office. Each option is supported by an experienced IKEA interior designer, providing a professional and personal service for both individual and business customers.

Interior design for your home or business

We offer a range of design services tailored to your needs, from simple expert advice to a complete design for a single room, an entire apartment, or a business space.
Business and individual customers can choose from the following options:
  • Interior Planning Service: A one-hour, one-on-one online meeting with an interior designer who will provide advice on your design challenges and suggest furniture and accessories.
    • This service is exclusive to IKEA Family members. The service fee is ¥4,900 per room. If you use this service and purchase products worth ¥100,000 or more, the ¥4,900 planning fee will be returned to you in the form of an IKEA gift card. (The redemption period is 6 months from the date of the service. The purchase amount can be cumulative during this period.)
    • Available at IKEA Tokyo-Bay and IKEA Nagakute.
  • Interior Design Service for Business: We propose inspiring, functional, and affordable solutions tailored to your business needs, with consideration for society and the environment. This service can be used for planning various spaces such as offices, shops, cafes/restaurants, nurseries, and model rooms.
    • The fee for this service is ¥9,900/room for regular customers, and a discounted rate of ¥4,990/room for IKEA Business Network members.
    • You can choose to have your meeting at your nearest IKEA store or remotely.
