What is included in the kitchen installation service and kitchen storage installation service?

Not confident in assembling and installing the kitchen yourself? Worried about handling gas and electrical connections on your own? We offer a kitchen installation service for fitting system kitchens, including hobs and sinks, and a kitchen storage installation service for fitting storage cabinets. Both services include the complete assembly of cabinets, installation of worktops, and even lighting and finishing touches for a complete setup.

What's included in the Kitchen Installation Service

  • For METOD:
    • Protecting the work area (indoor curing)
    • Package disposal and simple cleaning
    • Lighting installation and drilling holes for wiring
    • On-site confirmation of the kitchen installation location (pre-installation visit, mandatory)
    • Cabinet assembly and installation based on the plan (doors, handles & knobs, legs, plinths, end panels, deco strips, worktops, silicone sealing, basic internal accessories, earthquake-resistant latches)
    • Filler strip processing (basic processing included in the total kitchen length, such as cornices above wall cabinets)
    • Securing island units to the floor, processing cover panels
    • Worktop jointing
    • Wall mounting of kitchen accessories
    • Installation of hobs, dishwashers, ovens, sinks, taps, and range hoods (IKEA products only)
    • Drilling holes in cabinets for wiring and plumbing
    • Connection of water supply/drainage, water, gas, and electricity
  • For KNOXHULT:
    • Protecting the work area (indoor curing)
    • Package disposal and simple cleaning
    • Lighting installation and drilling holes for wiring
    • On-site confirmation of the kitchen installation location (pre-installation visit, mandatory)
    • Base cabinet assembly and installation based on the plan (doors, handles & knobs, legs, worktops, silicone sealing, basic internal accessories, earthquake-resistant latches)
    • Installation of hobs, sinks, taps, and range hoods (IKEA products only)
    • Drilling holes in cabinets for wiring and plumbing
    • Connection of water supply/drainage, gas, and electricity

    • Lighting installation and drilling holes for wiring
    • Filler strip processing (basic processing included in the total kitchen length, such as cornices above wall cabinets)
    • Securing island units to the floor, processing cover panels
    • Worktop jointing
  • For KNOXHULT:
    • Protecting the work area (indoor curing)
    • Package disposal and simple cleaning

  • Protecting the work area (indoor curing)
  • Assembly and installation
  • Package disposal and simple cleaning
  • On-site confirmation of the kitchen installation location (pre-installation visit, mandatory)
  • Installation of sinks and taps (IKEA products only)
  • Water supply and drainage are charged separately
 

Installation-related services not included (separate charge)

  • On-site measurement survey of the kitchen/kitchen storage installation space before planning
  • Removal of existing kitchen/kitchen cabinets
  • Disposal of removed kitchen/kitchen cabinets
  • Repair of walls and floors after removal
  • Processing of drainage pipes for high-pressure cleaning
  • Pre-installation site check for kitchen cabinet installation
  • Additional work for wall reinforcement
  • Relocation or new installation of water, gas, or electricity lines
  • Installation of appliances provided by the customer
  • Installation work outside the main service area
