What spare parts can I get from IKEA and how much do they cost?

IKEA has three types of parts: small parts, large parts, and parts for kitchen appliances. The price varies depending on the part you need.

If you want to replace or extend the life of your IKEA products, you can get the parts you need online or at an IKEA store. Here we explain how to identify the different types of parts and their prices.

1. Small Parts

Small parts are essential for assembling IKEA furniture and products. They include hardware such as screws, knobs, and plugs. Small parts have a 6-8 digit part number, which is listed in the first few pages of the product's assembly instructions.
You can find the part number in the following ways:
  • Product assembly instructions: They are included with the product. If you don't have them, you can search for the product on the IKEA.com, go to the product page, and click on "Product details" then "Assembly & documents" to view the assembly instructions.
  • Purchase history: If your purchase is linked to your IKEA Family account, you can log in to your account, go to the "Purchase history" page, and you will find an "Order spare parts" button. Clicking this button will show you a list of products for which parts are available and the required part numbers.
If the "Order parts" button is not displayed, it may be because:
  • The parts are not included in the product package.
  • The product is out of stock or has been discontinued.
  • You have cancelled or returned the order.
All small parts are provided free of charge.
Please note that wall-fixing screws are not originally included because the type of screw required depends on the material and construction of the mounting surface. We do not handle small parts that are not included with the product. However, some products (such as chests of drawers) do come with wall-fixing screws included.

2. Large Parts

Large parts are major furniture components such as side panels or drawer fronts. They are included in the package when you purchase an IKEA product. Large parts do not have a 6-8 digit part number.
Price: The price of large parts varies depending on the part you need. Stock is limited.

3. Kitchen Appliance Parts

You can get spare, replacement, or additional parts for kitchen appliances if they are part of a product you purchased. This includes IKEA kitchen appliances as well as appliances from other brands sold at IKEA, such as Electrolux. The manufacturer's name, model, and serial number can usually be found on the rating plate inside the appliance.
If you need parts for a kitchen appliance purchased at IKEA, please contact the authorized service center listed in the product's instruction manual.
